Lumber For Our Building Extention

Last February 8, Friday the lumber we bought from Sto.Tomas already arrived. This will be the start of our preparation for our plan to build extention building. The plan to have another building will be built at right side of our chapel to be use as church office and Bible study rooms. Thanks for bro. Frank Agayam who drive his elf truck to transfer the lumber from Sto.Tomas to Taribubu.

Values Education Program Seminar

In coordination with Pastor Walter Semilla of Bible League, we held our Values Education Program Seminar last February 10, 2013, Sunday. The seminar was about practical steps & suggestions how to teach in public schools using the Values Education Program of our Public Schools. Pastor Walter introduced free materials from Bible League of Canada. The said saminar is just an introduction of the V.E.P. Next month Lord willing we can invite him again with his wife to share about the A to Z of Effective teaching.

Region 2 Preachers Forum

The preachers and ministers from Region 2 of our country, held a Preachers Forum last February 16, Saturday, at Ramon Church of Christ, Ramon Isabela. There are 46 preachers & ministers registered in attendance list, representing 19 congregations. After 4 hours of travel from Taribubu to Ramon Isabela we had reached the venue. The ministers and members of Ramon COC welcomed us. We had our breakfast first and greeted and all those members and preachers arriving from Region 2, Tabuk, and Mountain province. Bros. Bert Braa and Bal Lagua Jr were the main facilitators of that said Forum. We had discussed how we could effectively coordinate our events and activities. In addition, we talked about how we can have partnership in areas of evangelism, edification and benevolence. We appointed regional coordinators to effectively disseminate and communicate the information and programs regarding forums and other church activities. Again, we really appreciate bro.Frank Agayam going with us and driven his lorry for us to attend that Forum. We would like to thank also sis. Maryjane, wife of bro. Frank. bros. Ariel, Edlyn, Ernesto, and Jonel who also joined us to attend that Forum.

JS Prom Night At Culung High School
Culung High School held their annual Junior Senior Prom Night last February 18, Monday. Some students from Culung High asked us for help. Particularly, they requested Babes to help them with their make-up, others requested us to help them with their neckties. On that JS Prom Night, Honey Joy Villoria, cousin of Elgin Guitto, won the Miss Junior Award for the year 2013.

Arvie Taberna Won School Chess Competition

Arvie Taberna, the son of bro.Fredie and sis. Vilma Taberna, won as 22nd Runner Up Kiddies Division, of 3rd Congressman Randolph Sera Ting Chess Cup. In partnership with the office of the Mayor Delfin T.Ting. The Chess Cup was held last February 2 to 3, 2013, at 3rd Floor Paseo Reale Mall, Tuguegarao City. There are about 90 participants from Elementary Schools of surrounding Cagayan Valley region. This event was hosted by Cagayan Chess Development Club with the theme; Chess is the instrument in our life for us to have the skill & courage to fight in every trials...

Bro.Oscar Manangan Will Attend SIBI Class In Singapore

Brother Oscar Manangan was invited to attend one month class in Sunset International Bible Institude (SIBI) of Pasir Panjang Church of Christ in Singapore. He is scheduled to go to and stay in Singapore from Feb.28 to March 30 2013. Please pray for Gods travel mercy for our brother to have the proper documents on that day of his flight departure for him to be spared from the complication especially in Immigration office of our International Airport Terminal 1 which is known as the most problematic airport in Asia.

Please Pray For Those Who Are Sick

Bro.Amado Sabado, suffered stroke last Monday, February 11, and he was confined to the hospital. He was in coma the following Saturday. When they thought that he has no hope of getting better the family decided to bring him out the hospital. On February 20, Wednesday, one day after his 74th birthday he gain consciousness and able to talk. But, after few days, when we visited him, this last Sunday, Feb.24, he is again getting weaker. We are having house church service, for two Sundays already at their house, lifting him in the Throne of Grace and strengthening his family in this time of great trial.

Sis. Helen Bunuan

Before we visited brother Amado at Holy Infant Hospital in Tuguegarao last Friday, February 15, we first visited sister Helen Bunuan, who was also in Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC) in Carig, Cagayan. She was confined after felling dizzzy and almost fainted. The doctors found out that shes having an Enlargement of the heart. We prayed for her in the hospital. After the prayer, we were requested to visit the other room of the hospital, were the cousin of Ariel Paguila, name Roland Del Monte, was also admitted and he requested for prayers also.

Bro. Quintin Bunuan

Because of the Arthritis & Rheumatoid on his hands and knees, bro. Quintin Bunuan is in and out of the hospital these two consecutive months. Sometimes his hands and knees were swelling and cause so much pain for him so he nedded to be confined in the hospital. But right now our dear brother is recovering. Thank God! Last Sunday , February 24, he was able to attend our Sunday morning service.
