ESA MCB 51-2

EVALUATION BOARD

Quick Start Guide

This document describes a series of quick steps to bring up and verify correct operation of your new ESA MCB 51-2 board. All the elements you will need to complete this assembly are provided with board. The set of steps involve unpacking and identifying each part in the MCB 51-2, attaching a minimum subset of cables required to verify operation, and powering the board. The ESA MCB 51-2 Kit contains all the pieces necessary to bring up and verify correct operation of your ESA MCB 51-2 board. The following table lists the elements of the ESA MCB 51-2 Development : No. 1 2 3 4 5 Item MCB51-2 Board Power cable with Jack Connector(3.5 mm barel) Jack Power Cable with Jack(3.5 mm barrel) USB Cable(A to B) Driver CD User Manual

Quick List of Assembly Steps

1. Install Keil Development tools for 8051 microcontroller. *Driver CD contains Evaluation version of Keil tools. 2. Connect 5V DC power supply to board using power jack. 3. Connect Provided USB cable between MCB 51-2 board & computer. 4.
