I set out and made a questionnaire for fellow students around college to gather more information on their views

and preferences concerning a music magazine of a specific genre, here are my results (highlighted in red). Questionnaire
I am currently involved in making a music magazine that focuses on Indie Rock/Indie pop music. My target audience are males and females aged 16-19 who are interested in that genre of music. Evaluation
Overall summary of my results On the basis of my results I have found that my target audience would like: A front cover like NME

The main bands I should focus on should be like: Florence and the Machine, Artic Monkeys, Mumford and Sons, Never Shout Never, The Black Keys and Vampire Weekend. The audience would like the style of the magazine to be: A large variety of different articles that relate to the genre, mainly image based with big chunks of text to go with it and a mix of light and dark colours.

Images Preferred: The audience have said that they would like the main image to be of a famous/well-known artist/band that relates to the genre. Cost of the magazine: The cost is to be 2-3
