Benchmarking Project Management Services Against Global Standard to Efficiently Deliver High-Impact Projects Driving Malaysias ETP The benefits of Malaysias Economic Transformation Programme (ETP), the brainchild of Prime Minister Dato Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak, must exceed their costs many times more. The benefit at the construction stage must continue to the operation phase. However, professionals trained in traditional fields of construction face growing challenges within their own field of specialization. Many of these new needs are being looked after by project managers who acquire the relevant skills to handle numerous challenges during the life cycle of the project. More importantly, the demand for new skills keeps growing and project managers must continue to update their skills in order to remain relevant to the needs of industry.
Objective of Symposium
Making Project Management an inherent part of project delivery in Malaysia; Identifying the Project Management needs for the efficient delivery of important sectors in the Economic Transformation Programme namely Regional Development, Oil & Gas as well as Petrochemical Sector, and Urban Transportation and other related sectors; Keeping abreast with local and global development in the field of project management.
