CANFLEX Pillow Tanks are normally pillow shaped tanks having a low profle. (i.e. ratio of height to length or width is small
for stability purposes). Petroleum products, drinking water, industrial chemicals, wastewater, liquid food products, and a
wide variety of other liquid products can be safely and efciently stored in the CANFLEX Pillow Tanks.
Available accessories include ground sheets, bed liners, infatable secondary containment, fuid pumping systems, hoses,
ball valves, webbing tie securing systems (USED ON TRUCK / BOAT MOUNTABLE PILLOW TANKS), repair kit, etc. Pressure
arrestors are standard for fammable liquid applications.
INTRODUCTION
CANFLEX USA Inc. is a major U.S. Manufacturer of R/F welded products made with special high strength PVC/PE blend or Urethane coated fabrics, such as
polyester, nylon, and Kevlar. All of our products are collapsible and can be folded for easy storage and transportation. Our tanks can be used to transport
or store a wide variety of liquids including but not limited to potable water, oil, jet fuel, diesel fuel, wastewater, sewage, oil spill and ballast water. CAN-
FLEX also ofers custom products made from coated fabrics and complete systems including ofoad pumps and power packs. All fttings are made from
cast anodized marine grade aluminum and they are bolted through the main body of the tanks to a cast marine grade aluminum backing plate using
stainless steel fasteners. Each ftting is mounted on a patch having a greater diameter than the outside diameter of the particular ftting. Hose
connections are generally camlock type and the connections sizes may vary depending on the end-user applications for load and ofoad operations.

CANFLEX PILLOW TANKS CHARACTERISTICS
OPEN TOP TANKS
CANFLEX Open Top Reservoirs are circular shaped low profle tanks (i.e. ratio of height to diameter is small for stability
purposes) with circular shape self-fotation collar made of closed cell foam or air chamber. These tanks are used for storage
of oil, potable water, sewage, and other liquids. Available accessories include ground sheet, carry / storage bag, replaceable
inner liner, top cover, hoses, ball valves, repair kit, etc. These reservoirs are sturdier and more versatile than aluminum frame
fabric tanks. They are very lightweight, reliable, fast response units requiring no frame set-up.

HELI-LIFTABLE TANK
This tanks can be carried by helicopters to transport liquids to remote areas. When empty, the unit collapses vertically to a
fraction of its flled size. Each tank has a total of four polyester webbing lifting straps attached to a appropriate screw
pin shackle(s) with swivel , for a single point lifting.

BEACH BOOM
These water ballast containment booms are used as spill barriers for shorelines
and to protect areas exposed to tidal fows. They can also be used as berms for
emergency food containment. CANFLEX Beach Booms are manufactured with
high strength coated fabrics and its ends are reinforced to avoid tearing. These
units are collapsible and can be folded for easy storage and transportation. All

SURFACE RESPONSE BAG
In 1986, CANFLEX designed and manufactured the frst ever Surface Response Bag . CANFLEX Surface Response Bags are
balloon shaped towable bladders designed for applications at Shipping Ports or Harbors for temporary storage of oil or
light fuels that have been recovered by skimmers.The bladders then can be slowly towed to an area where the harbor crane
or large dock crane is able to attach a hook to the bottom shackle and hoist it from the water. The recovered product can
then be drained out through the bottom ftting into a tank truck for removal from the spill site. Each Surface Response Bag
has two closed cell foam foatation panels for auxiliary buoyancy and stability. They also come with high strength polyester
webbing lifting straps treated with special coating to prevent against UV degradation. These straps are enclosed in protec-
tive sleeves attached to the body of the bag. All the Surface Response Bags come with appropriate screw pin shackles, for a
single point lifting, attached to the top of the lift harness.
DECONTAMINATION CLEANING STATIONS
These units are used for wash down and decontamination of equipment and
personnel. Petroleum products, drinking water, industrial chemicals, waste-
water, liquid food products, and a wide variety of other liquid can be safely
and efciently washed down in CANFLEX Decontamination Cleaning Stations.
It includes the foor and the air infatable sides with high volume hand pump
for infation. All sizes available.
