I understand that the prophet Mohammad was the last prophet I remember to say Sallallahu Alayhiwas Sallam after his name I can retell some facts about the prophet Mohammads childhood I am learning about some of the family members of the prophet Mohammad (pbuh) I remember to say Radiy Allahu Anhu after the names of the companions.

Quran
I can recite Suwar in Arabic 1-5 6-10 11-15

I am learning to memorise some of the names of Allah, Al-Kkhaliq, Al Bari, Al Musawwir. I have memorized the Shahadah in Arabic. When I se another Muslim I say Asalaam Alaikum. I know how many times Muslims have to pray. I can perform some of the actions of wudu in the correct order. I can follow some of the actions of Salah. I am learning about the importance of Ramadhan I am learning about the celebrations of Eid.

16-20 I show respect to my teachers and teachers. 21-25 I understand that Muslims come from around the world and can name some/many of these places. I can show kindness and sharing by thinking about others feelings. I know when to say MashAllah, Bismillah and Alhamdulillah

I can retell some/all of the story of the prophet Adam and his sons. I understand why it is important to obey Allah and not the Shaytan. I am learning about the idea of intentions (Niyyah). I can retell some/all of the story of the prophet Nuh. I can retell some/all of the story of prophet Younus. I can retell the story of Aam ul Feel. (the Year of the Elephant) and understand the main message. I can retell many facts about the prophet Mohammads childhood. I know some facts about how Mohammad (pbuh) became a prophet. I can list some/all of the companions of the prophet. I can recall some of the story of the prophets first wife Khadijah. I can name some/many of the important Masjids around the world.

Class: Grade 2

I can identify the language the Quran is written in. I know how the Quran was revealed. I can recognize what is the Sunnah. I know the difference between both Eids. I can retell how different countries around the world celebrate Eid. 21-25 I can recount some Muslim role models that inspire me.

Ibadah/Aqeedah
I can name all the five pillars of Islam. I have memorized the Shahadah in Arabic and English. I can perform some/all the actions of Wudhoo in the correct order. I can follow all the actions of Salah. I can follow the actions of Eid Salah. I know the names and times of all the prayers. I understand what Kushoo is and am learning to demonstrate it in Salah.

I understand the importance of honesty. I understand that Allah sees me all the time. (Taqwa) I understand the importance of respecting elders. I understand how and why I should say Dua. I can recognize and recite all/some of the Athan. I can explain why it is important to be clean I can work collaboratively as part of a group.

I can recount the first events of the Prophet Ibraheems life and the main message. I can recount some/all of the challenges faced by prophet Ibraheem. I can recount who the family of Prophet Ibraheem was. I know why Zam Zam water is special. I can recount the story of how the Kaaba was built. I can recall the story of Israh Wal Miraj I can recall the entire story of the prophets first wife Khadijah.

Class: Grade 3 Ibadah/Aqeedah


I can identify some of the pillars of Faith I can describe the steps of Wudhoo and perform them in the correct order. I understand what Kushoo is and can demonstrate it in Salah. I can desribe what Hajj is. I am learning about Salat ul Jumaah.

I can recall some of the months in the Islamic Calendar I understand the importance of why we fast in Ramadhan. I can define Suhoor and Iftar. I am learning about Halal and Haram food.

I understand the actions that will break a persons prayer.

16-20 I practice cleanliness and purity in my daily life. 21-25 I can demonstrate cooperation and perseverance in my daily life. I use many of the expressions used by prophet Mohammed in his daily life. I understand the consequences of not telling the truth. I can recount all of the months in the Islamic calendar in Arabic and English. I understand the love and value of the month of Ramadhan.I can list some of the things the prophet did during Ramadhan.

I can describe who Salman Al Farsi was and the lessons from his life. I can recount the battle of the Trench and write a newspaper article about it. I am learning about the battle of Uhud.

I can express why Salat ul Jamaah is important for Muslims. I practice Thikr on a regular basis. I can demonstrate Thikr. I can identify all the categories of Zakah. I know the difference between Zakah and Sadaqah. I understand the importance of Zakat Ul Fitr. I understand the importance of voluntary prayers and can name some/all of them.
