2. Enter your e-mail address and SAS Profile password in the appropriate boxes. If you do not have a SAS Profile or have forgotten your SAS Profile credentials, continue with this section. Otherwise, continue to Step 3.
If you do not have a SAS Profile associated with your e-mail address, select the Create a SAS Profile or New User? link. If you do have a SAS Profile, enter your SAS Profile Password or select Forgot Your Password?
Enter your information in the required fields to create or update your SAS Profile.
A verification e-mail will be sent. Select the link located in the e-mail.
Select the Continue Registration for SAS OnDemand for Academics link to return to the SAS OnDemand for Academics Control Center.
Enter your e-mail address and SAS Profile password in the appropriate boxes.
5. If appropriate, select the state or province that your school is located in.
7. Verify your registration details and then select Submit Registration. Select Change Information if you would like to change your profile information.
9. Carefully review the Software License Agreement. If you agree, click the Agree button and select Enter.
10. Create a userid that you would like to use to log on to the SAS Server using SAS Enterprise Guide. A default userid is suggested for you.
11. From your Home Page, select Acquire a License to register for a course. At this point your account status is Pending until you register for a course. For more information on your account status, please expand Account Details.
12. Select the course that you are registering for and then select Continue.
13. Review your course information and then select Acquire License(s).
14. Your registration is now complete. Select Return to My Home Page to begin the process of accessing your software.
15. The table of Current Licenses lists the course or courses that you have registered for. To begin the process of downloading software for your course, select the Download Client link from the table row for the appropriate course. Your Account Status should now be Active.
16. You will receive an e-mail with the subject, SAS Software Order Email. This email contains instructions for downloading your software. This e-mail is important and should be saved; it is your unique order and has important details to guide you through the download and installation of the software you have chosen to use.
17. From the Software Order E-mail, select Download Manager Tool Site.
18. Scroll down, and find your platform in the Download Manager. Select Request Download.
19. You could be prompted to logon again. Logon using your e-mail address and password in the field on the right.
20. Read the License Agreement and if you agree to the conditions select I Accept. You will then be taken to the Download Page. Select Download to download the desired file.
21. Select Save File. The file esdclient.exe will download to your computer. Open the file and select Run.
22. This will start the installation of the SAS Download Manager. Follow the instructions in your Software Order Email and the Installer Guide to complete installation of the SAS Download Manager. The SAS Download Manager is used to securely download your order
