The four wheel drive trails will be teeming with activity March 22 31, 2013. Is this the only week to get away to mountain bike or hike in southeastern Utah? The Moab Trail Mix has developed upwards of 80 miles of mountain bike single track during 2011 and 2012. Jeep Safari week would be a fine time to explore the Brand Trails, Klondikes and the newest KLONZO trail networks. That week will see a great deal of vehicle activity in the Sand Flats and Porcupine Trail access. It may a better strategy to abandon those trails for the single track networks this visit. If you can find accommodations. At this late date, come only if lodging or camping can be reserved. The Moab Area Travel Council has put together a recent list of availability for visitors. Anticipate four wheeling is prohibited to the Jeep Safari event group trail rides in Dead Horse Point State Park, Arches or Canyonlands National Parks. Think of the parks as a sightseer and hiker domain as the Jeep Safari participants enjoy around 33 Bureau of Land Management (BLM) trails permitted for the event, some BLM trails will have resulting exclusivity for only the registered Jeep Safari eventees.
