General Competition / Series Rules (Section 1)

FSCA (Forza Sports Car Association) has established these General Competition Rules to govern all sports car racing events sanctioned by the FSCA.

MEMBERS AND PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO REVIEW THESE RULES CAREFULLY.

Primary Rules
To join The Forza Sports Car Association means that you understand and will adhere to the rules of the series. That you will not complain or defame the series rules or it's process and attempts to implement a level more competitive field for racers of all skill levels, who use different peripherals to compete and race. Opinions are accepted if given in a respectful manner. By racing in the FSCA you accept these rules and its system and will adhere to them.

The purpose of this racing series and governing body is to have fun, friendly and exciting racing action for all involved. We, as the FCSA, have worked countless hours to improve already tough rules and regulations to make sure each competitor is given an equal and fair chance to compete at the highest level possible. Compliance with series rules as well as procedures and protocol are mandatory. All offenders will be disciplined individually based on severity. We hope you enjoy your time spent with the FSCA and the FRSCS and we continue and strive on making the series and governing body better and better each year. Each driver / entrant must pass a series of tests administered by a series official and/or race director before being admitted into the series. No one is omitted from these tests. Rookie of the Year (ROTY) candidates must have not driven in the select series and/or class that they will be running full time at seasons beginning Remember: This is an invite league only!

Qualifying / Practice / Testing Procedure (Section 2)

Qualifying is by series official group session(s) ONLY! Failing to appear in a qualifying group session, will result in a 2 second penalty added to your fast time lap and an automatic non-bid (Disqualification) into the FORZA FAST 6. The entrants time will then be administered by a race-chosen official. (Example. 1:25:834 into 1:27:834) If said drivers time was worthy of the fast 6, they will be placed as 7th fastest. If a participant fails to appear in ANY of the official qualifying session(s), they are automatically put to the tail of the field

Qualifying Format
Official FSCA Qualifying Sessions will be 15 minutes long. To qualify you must have a room run by a Series Official. The room official will set up your room according to requirements. You will then follow the qualifying procedure as explained above. Only a series official can submit 'certified' times. All other times are not valid. You can only qualify 1 time per race and once your time is submitted it is final. A racer who does not qualify is not eligible for any awards for that specific race. If two cars achieve the same qualifying time, the racer that is higher in the Championship Points shall be gridded first. Participants will be viewed as invisible to other drivers in their session, thus not interfering with lap times / driving errors / drivers lines

Forza Fast 6 Rules: Official FSCA Qualifying Sessions will be 15 minutes long After ALL official Qualifying sessions are completed, the FORZA FAST 6 will be re-drawn for an invert. Starting Positions 1 6 will be determined based on a pill draw. A PILL DRAW is an Invert drawing order to increase passing, fairness, and excitement. This method is used so that the leader (usually the fastest qualifier) must also race his way to the front according to where he/she may start. EXAMPLE Session: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) Pill Pill Pill Pill Pill Pill Draw Draw Draw Draw Draw Draw

7) 8) 9) 10) A CAP of 12-14-16 cars will be implemented at each race. The FSCA will also implement a 60/40 rule for all DP to GT car counts (Example 14 Cars 8 DP to 6 GT) A driver who wins the pole position (FASTEST before pill draw) earns one bonus point. After the 60 / 40 rule is fulfilled, BUMPING will ensue for the fastest cars to make the race. If a driver cannot make a certain race, they make relinquish their starting position and the provisional driver (fastest driver bumped, then takes their spot at the tail of the grid.

Race Procedure (Section 3)

The FSCA will implement a 60/40 rule for all DP to GT car counts (Example 14 Cars 8 DP to 6 GT) The racing is expected to be as clean and competitive as possible. This series is for those looking to enjoy organized, fun and competitive racing. It is expected of you to race as clean as possible while following the known rules of racing. Racing Director reviews ALL replays and will take swift disciplinary action to insure fair and respectable racing. After Qualifying there will be rooms created by Race Officials and those who qualified for the respected rooms will be invited. The Race Official will notify Racers of their Grid Positions and during the out lap/warm up lap drivers will get in the correct grid order single file line. Max of 2 restarts. TWO ONLY! None past lap 2 of the race. If racers have contact then it will be handled per the avoidable contact rules of the series. Lag incidents are included in this two restart max. If lag is present then racers give more space to try & help with the situation. If a racer has too much lag he may be asked to go to the back of the field or removed from the room. This is to protect the entire race room. If a room has too much lag then an alternate host must be chosen. Standing Starts Once all racers are in their effective room there will be a one lap drive around the track and during this 1 lap racers will get in order of qualifying prior to crossing the finish line. Then the room host will set the room up for 'Lobby Points' order on the GRID ORDER. From there the race starts from the second the Green Flag drops (countdown ends) DP Cars Passing GT Cars It is the job of the GT drivers to be aware of their surroundings when a DP car is trying to pass. While no driver should ever LAY OVER, it is expected that you give the DPs room to maneuver around you.

PASSING it is the responsibility of both the overtaking Driver and the Driver being overtaken to assure safe overtaking at racing speeds. However, the burden of a clean pass lies more squarely on the passing driver. BLOCKING Any driver who, in the sole opinion of the Series Officials or Race Director alters their racing line based on the actions of pursuing competitors, or uses an abnormal racing line to inhibit or prevent overtaking may be considered to be blocking and may be warned or penalized with addition of time added to finishing time or in the case of gross actions 1/2 points and race probation in accordance. Any action or decision (or any alleged infraction or non-decision) taken by or imposed by Series Official or Race Director in this regard is not subject to protest or appeal. Rear End Crashes/Avoidable Contact (Rule applies to the person rear ending another racer) Crashes deemed avoidable by officials can also incur these penalties. Race incidents such as small taps a little rubbing etc do not apply. Example someone completely misses their braking point and crashes into another racer causing major damage would incur penalty. Brake-checking is also banned VIOLATIONS & PENALTIES Any Driver, or Entrant, who is found to have INTENTIONALLY caused contact or crash a fellow competitor WILL be severely penalized and possibly removed and BANNED from racing with the Forza Sport Car Association. Any action or decision (or any alleged inaction or nondecision) taken by or imposed by Series Officials or Race Director in this regard is not subject to protest or appeal. TEAMS Teams must be approved AND confirmed by the Series Race Director. A Maximum of (2-3) cars on a team is in place to ensure fair competition and an equal playing field for ALL drivers and team involved. TALKING / SPOTTING WHILE RACING It is the drivers responsibility to make sure their passing is as clean as possible. Calling to a drivers inside/outside helps avoid crashes. Once another driver calls it out, it is both the driver in fronts responsibility to give the driver that is behind enough room to race cleanly.
