Year 9 World War One Homework project You are going to create an information book on World War One.

. This book is going to be given to year 6 pupils to help them with their studies on World War One. Below is the bare minimum which should be include in your information books to get the high grades you will have to do your own research. Week beginning Task What caused the outbreak of the First World War? High Level Can you group the causes? Which group is most significant? Trench life Include a picture of a trench and label it. Write a diary extract of a soldier living in the trenches think about their daily routine, fears and their living conditions. Choose a Battle from World War One Create a story board to show the key events of a major battle during World War One. Find pictures of the different weapons used throughout World War One. Annotate each picture with information about each weapon. Give each weapon a rating out of 10. Write 2-3 paragraphs explaining why Germany lost World War One. Remember to state what the most important reason is and why. Remember your book must have a front and back cover. High Level Explain in detail why one reason is more important than the other reasons.
