Sir: The Intramurals 2013 has been filled with a lot of momentous events enjoyed by the students with laughter and merry-making. However, we are writing this letter to petition your good office to take necessary actions with regards to the certain issues, problems, and difficulties we have encountered during the festivities. These grievances are the generalized conclusions the undersigned have rationally debated and discussed before presenting it to your judgment. Furthermore, it is hereby affirmed that these deliberations have been discussed in the most respectful manner possible without partisan or political motivation. Out of these predicaments, the undersigned redress the following: WHEREAS, the jerseys which have been duly paid by the students are not duly distributed on time despite of the scheduled games. Due to this, majority of the players had to play without the proper jersey. May this be a reminder that the Intramurals Committee has clearly emphasized that No foreign jersey must be used during the course of the Intramurals. What had happened is ironic to the ruling of the committee. As students, we question not the Foundations decision but it is hard to grasp the idea of a responsibility which cannot be responded accordingly. From a single supplier the demand is gigantic so the result is failure. Furthermore, the big number of jerseys to be distributed resulted to an effect in the quality of jerseys. We would also like to inform you, that jerseys were distributed one at a time, taking in for example, that the jersey shirts were given first and the shorts were given late, vice versa. In some cases, up to now shorts and jerseys have not been distributed yet. The design, name and number of jerseys were not followed by the supplier that students must endure a different name, a different number, and a different design from what we have intended it originally. Satirically, the surname DIONISIO has been printed as DIONISIA. It is sometimes quite fun to be associated with the Peoples Champ but in a world where funny is equivalent to bully; we suppose its not fun. In other words, quality is neither tantamount to the money we have paid for nor equivalent to the money our parents have worked hard for. In summary, there is a question of quality to the responsibility shouldered by the Committee whose incapacity is seemingly obvious as per stated above.

WHEREAS, the prizes among the winners and placers during the Intramurals were given but not as according to what we ought and promised to receive. There is a clear deduction in the prizes awarded to each winner. The first place is to receive seven thousand pesos but the awarded prize becomes five thousand pesos only. The placers were to receive a promised specific prize or award but the awarded prize is deducted by at least ten to twenty percent. We demand transparency. We neither long nor seek for the money but we are requesting that this serious matter must be explained rather than maligned by the majority. Transparency seems to be the lacking in the awarding of prizes and yet transparency is what we need. WHEREAS, the Intramurals itself seems to be lacking with proper system and game management which resulted to various failures on the part of Committee. There have been multiple re-scheduled games, multiple defaults among players, unannounced scheduled games, a bias referee, a bias committee and to make the issue worse the betting and gambling among faculty members and most specifically the committee itself and if there is worse to that, the referee is enjoined. The irregularity in the most trusted committee must be brought to your attention. There have been various anomalies which are detrimental to the idea of credibility of the Intramurals. Out of these suppositions, we demand your concern so that your attention may be rendered. It is a fact that the will of the majority places a greater conviction than the few. If the opinion of the majority voices out a concern that calls the attention of the authority, then, it must be heard.
