When users select the check box, VISUAL generates invoices with zero values. If users clear the check box, VISUAL does not generate zero value invoices. When creating an RMA in CRM, the application no longer populates the RMA ID with the associated Customer ID. Service orders with multiple line items now properly generate invoices.

Description Labor values now populate the service order labor table with the billed rate and populates the labor ticket table with its costed rate as standard. A Combine Specifications and Comments check box was added to the Quotes tab in the Defaults window. If the user selects the check box, processing passes the concatenated specification with additional comments to the order/estimate line; for example: This is specification for line 2 Comments: This is comment text for line 2. If the check box is cleared, then processing passes only the specifications. By default, the check box is cleared. In the Contacts grid and Contacts window, VISUAL now allows the standard 20 characters in the title field. The Accounts grid filter no longer clears (thereby showing all accounts) after the user creates a Quick History record from a quick-filtered grid. Processing now populates the new customer order with the associated accounts customer ID and its associated header information. Note: For this enhancement to work properly, the following VISUAL Manufacturing versions or higher must be installed: VMORDENT: 6.3.8.196 , 6.4.1.221 , 6.5.1.167 , 6.5.2.098 VMORDWIN 6.3.8.221 , 6.4.1.228 , 6.5.1.190 , 6.5.2.087 VMESTWIN 6.3.8.084 . 6.4.1.102 . 6.5.1.080 . 6.5.2.059

Description An error message no longer appears when the user changes an Accounts primary contact. An error message no longer appears when the user views the Outlook calendar, notes, journal and task windows through CRM. If a linked VISUAL customer is deleted through VISUAL Enterprise Customer Maintenance, CRM removes the link between the VISUAL Customer and CRM Account. Users can now link existing contacts to a different account. Users can no longer edit a closed or cancelled call unless the status is changed. The Type drop-down list now populates properly. Marketing Catalog documents now save to the default document directory specified in the Admin window/Defaults tab. Marketing Catalog documents now properly attach to emails. The Electronic Document specification now appears consistently. Users can now delete information consisting of more than 50 characters within a user defined field. CRM now creates the link between CRM contacts and VISUAL customer contacts correctly. Users can now modify the tax group for accounts that are tax-exempt. If an account is tax-exempt, Quotes, Service Orders, Customer Orders, and Invoices do not use the Accounts sales tax group ID. A new Copy User Defined Data check box on the Defaults window/Quote tab allows users to choose whether or not to copy the Quotes user defined information to an Order when creating an Order from a Quote.

Description The new contact wizard no longer displays error messages if there are no default terms. Account lookups are now working according to the My Account lookup security settings. Using the search filter subsequent to adding, removing or re-arranging grid columns will no longer causes CRM to crash. User_1 through User_10 are now properly synced between customer and account. VAT information is now retained upon upgrading from an old version of CRM. When converting a quote to an order, the first 10 user defined fields defined by the user within CRM will now populate the User_1 through User_10 columns within its associated VISUAL transaction. Processing no longer produces a runtime error upon entering a service charge on a quote and replacing the lines permission percent with the associated service charge commission value and that value is null. VISUAL now correctly updates the price when the user changes the unit of measure in a quote line. If the customer is not VAT enabled, the user is no longer able to tab to the VAT tab-window within Account entry. Default fields for configured customer types defined within Application Global will now populate its associated data fields upon selecting an Account Type within the Account window. Assigning a Primary warehouse within the Account window/Order Mgt tab will now process without error. Description Documents on network drives now link properly to a history record. An error message no longer appears when accessing the Calendar under the Personal folder (Outlook 2000). When using the Configurator, CRM now checks for the specified part in the SERIES_MODEL_PART table in addition to the part ID table. If the part ID does not exist in either table, you cannot convert to quote/estimate until the part has been created. Regardless of the want date entered in the line items for a quote, the desired ship date entered in the dialog box when converting a quote to an order is the date that appears on the customer order. CRM no longer allows the user to enter the same Part ID as a header reference and material requirement. In some cases, converting a quote to an order improperly resulted in an error message. This issue has been resolved. When creating a new account, the Defaults, Accounting tab now works properly. In SQL Server databases, copying an existing quote with several line items, then deleting the line items in the copied quote, resulted in an incorrect Quote Amount. This issue has been resolved. If you choose On Hold in the Admin, Defaults, Quote tab, quotes converted to orders will have an On Hold status. Previously, VISUAL would incorrectly change the order to a different status. User-defined line or detail views now properly save. The quick history Magnifying Glass button now pulls up the correct related history. With SQLBase databases, Part Specifications saved only the first character. This issue has been corrected.

Description With SQLBase and SQL Server databases, security settings for the Account form were not saving properly. This issue has been resolved. Sales security permissions are now properly saved. CRM no longer produces a runtime error when you try to select a Vendor ID on an Expense Line in Service Orders. The error occurred after the service order Expenses were saved. An error message no longer appears after editing and saving freight or Vendor ID on the Expense tab of a service order. When prices for parts have been set up by customer, CRM now properly uses the customer pricing in quotes. Negative discounts entered in a customer quote no longer reset to zero when converting the quote to an order. In the Application Builder, the list of contacts no longer expands to all contacts after closing the Customize Columns window. Only the customers attached to the Application Builder record appear. The FROM name now properly carries over when saving an email to History. An issue with the CRM baseline database failing when building foreign related to VISUAL Manufacturings Country ID field has been resolved. The Save grid layouts for each database check box in Tools, Options is now selected by default. CRM no longer hangs when creating new documents during mail merges has been improved. Mail merges can now be created successfully in the Parts table. Discounts now properly pass from quotes into customer orders. CRM now properly uses all Contract Type defaults.

Description Customer contact information is no longer overwritten when changing the contact number. CRM no longer allows you to create an Account ID with a space at the end. When converting a quote to an order, the incorrect contact person appeared on the order under certain circumstances (if you created a contact on the fly before adding a line item to your quote). This issue has been resolved. In the Quotes window, the total amount of the quote now properly updates when you copy a configured part. CRM does not support cut (CTRL+X), copy (CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) functionality using keyboard commands in combo grid boxes. The Assigned To column is now available in the Advanced filter in Contact Center, Tasks. The print options now work correctly. On the Sales/Opportunity tab, the tabbing order from field to field is now more logical. Service Orders now include a look up that allows you to link the order to a single contract line item. In Contact Center, Tasks, you can now change the status in the grid without going into the Details window. You can now search within an advanced filter lookup. The end date of a contract is now properly calculated based on the contract type duration, even if you create the contract after it takes effect. The Reports selection has been removed from the Calendar menu. Calendar is also no longer an option for custom reports. The Task Detail Report now displays all the information entered into the Comments field in the Tasks window. Previously, the report only displayed the first 256 characters.

Description Service orders now generate inventory transactions when the Issue check box is selected, the actual quantity is positive, and the part number is not a trace part. When converting a quote to an order, CRM now places the user ID of the individual logged in at the time of the conversion into the Bookings table. Previously, it defaulted to SYSADM. In Contract Type maintenance, the sum in the Contract Total field no longer rounds decimals into integers. In SQL Base databases, using dates in advanced filter criteria resulted in the truncation of subsequent dates. This issue has been resolved. In SQL Base databases, an issue with grids initializing slowly on fresh database installs has been resolved. Issues with Terms created in VISUAL Enterprise not properly operating in CRM have been resolved. Any user can convert a quote to an order, provided he or she has the proper permissions. Previously, only the SYSADM user could convert a quote to an order. Importing a text file in Accounts now works properly. In SQL Server, the date 1/1/1900 no longer auto-populates in the Terms Disc Date and Terms Net Date fields when converting an Account to a Customer. State abbreviations can now be up to 10 characters. The Copy Contact function in the Accounts/Contacts grid now works properly. In the Account grid, the focus on a particular account is now maintained when the user drills down to a dependency and deletes it.
