Explanatory text The Integrated Master in Architecture, throughout the five years of formation, privileges three main components of formation: an Architectural Design component, a Theoretical component and a Technological component. The overall objective of the master programme in Administrative of Justice is to offer a scientific and upto-date programme of studies in Administrative Justice. The current proposal is created in the context of a rising demand for specialists capable of providing an adequate answer to the increasing complexity of problems pertaining to judicial institutions. Graduates from the program will have a particularly adequate preparation to develop their careers in the areas of analysis, planning, and development of criminal policies and court management.

Biomedical Engineers apply engineering principles from the areas of materials, electrical, mechanical, chemical, optical, among others, in order to understand, modify or control biological systems; moreover, they design and fabricate products and technologies able to monitor physiological functions, the treatment of clinical data, and the assistance of the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This Master Course on Computer Networks and Services aims at promoting a comprehensive and deep knowledge in computer networks and services, providing the students with appropriate theoretical and practical skills in order to face today's communications needs and challenges. In particular, the study of fixed and mobile network infrastructures, focusing on current and emerging communication technologies and protocols, and network services engineering and management are key components of the course. The course also covers a set of additional complementary topics in order to allow students' focus on a specific area of interest. The course intends to supply during S1, the basis for a better understanding of aspects of Textile Chemistry that are fundamental for the future professionals responsible for the production and development, in dyeing and finishing companies: influence of the chemical structure of dyes on the dyeing properties; Fundamental aspects of the macromolecular structure of fibres; Dyeing processes and/or cleaner technologies and effluent treatment. There is a large choice of options in S2 that allow the students to grasp emerging areas in the Textile Chemistry field: functional finishes, nanomaterials and microcapsules, surface finishing based on radiation or enzymes, and other techniques that contribute for the revolution that is happening with the textile materials in the direction of their greater functionality and interactivity with the body. The dissertation in Year 2, with emphasis in the practical and research component, in themes that are in the vanguard of textile processes and materials.

The existence of this course is justified by the necessity of directing and preparing specialists in areas of Earth Sciences with vocation for exploration, evaluation, sustainable management and valorisation of the geological resources, also, contributing to a land management that includes the geological characterization as a fundamental instrument. Since geological resources are essentially non-renewable, it implies the duty of safeguard the possibility of its fruition as an attribute of the territory in which they occur (e.g., sustainable management of the exploitation and environmental impact). This course also promotes the use of geological criteria in order to eliminate some malfunctions and deficiencies in the plans of land management, which often compromise the possibility of fruition of areas with high mineral and water-resources potential.
