Construction of concourses and overbridges, including laying block work Installation of utility services. Construction hours Normal construction hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 8am to 6pm. Some works outside of these hours will be required for critical activities and to minimise impacts on the road network. Affected residents will be notified of any out of hours works. Continued traffic changes Local roads including Camden Valley Way, Cowpasture Road, Campbelltown Road, Ingleburn Gardens Drive and Bringelly Road, are experiencing changed traffic conditions. Road shoulders on Camden Valley Way, Cowpasture Road and Campbelltown Road will remain closed and traffic controls on all affected roads will be in place for the duration of the project. Operational noise and properties Operational noise and vibration for the project is currently being reviewed and a report is being prepared by independent noise experts. The recommended location, types and extent of all noise barriers will appear in the Operational Noise and Vibration Review (ONVR) which will be on public display later this year. You will receive further information about this in the lead up to the information sessions.
As a result of operational noise and vibration modelling already completed, we can confirm there will be a 140 metre long noise wall inside rail corridor lands behind properties at 242, 250 and 258 Byron Road. Construction of this wall will commence in the coming weeks and will be completed in March 2013.
