Each week you share with me your miracle stories. You tell me of your Cornelius experiences. My faith builds as I read your letters. Perhaps today I can return the favor. Here is a Cornelius experience that Hermana Pace and I had recently. On Saturday, March 2nd, the phone rang in the Mission Home. I answered it. The man on the phone (Jorge) asked if this was an evangelical church. I said no we are a Christian church. We believe that Christ has restored His original church back to the earth. Jorge replied that he had been studying the church online. He had also been reading the New Testament and realized that the bible teachings did not coincide with the practices of his church. Jorge asked, when can we meet? We met him at the Barcelona Barrio 2 capilla later that afternoon. I gave him a Book of Mormon. Jorge met with the Hermanas later that day for his first lesson. Saturday evening he called me to thank me for the lesson. He said he wanted to come to church but was a little nervous as he didnt know anyone. I replied, You know me! Jorge volunteered to drive me to church so that we could attend together. So there he was Sunday morning outside the Mission Home in his car promptly at 9:30 am. He attended all three meetings with me. Jorge is an attorney, has a job, a piso, and a car. He has been led to us by the Lord, and I told him so during the church meetings. He agreed. Jorge is continuing to study with the Hermanas. We are keeping in touch when we are in town. We hope to have him in our home for a lesson this week. The Lord is building our faith too! Hermana Pace and I always knew that the Lord was leading prepared investigators to each of you. Now we know He also leads them to us! This is the Lords work. This is His mission. We are grateful and humbled to serve with you in this great work. Que Dios Les Bendiga, Pte Mark L Pace

Is any thing too hard for the Lord?

Genesis 18:14

This week we saw a huge miracle as we were out knocking doors in the freezing cold. A 20 year old Colombian man opened up his door, allowed us to share the restoration and accepted a baptismal date right then and there. He also committed to read the Book of Mormon, to pray about it, and to find a way to change his day off work from Wednesday to Sunday, so he can come to church and get baptized. We are also finding families here in Inca. This same man told us about his brother and we are going to meet with the two next time as well. Knocking doors and contacting has also brought us 3 other families who we've taught at least once and have return visits with. We're working hard here and the Lord is blessing us!!!! I learned about approaching things in a different way during zone conference. I dont need to do missionary work the way Ive been doing it since 2011. Missionary work evolves with continuous revelation and so should we as missionaries.

Then this last Saturday, we had a visit with her, Angelica and Alex. We had planned to teach her the whole plan of salvation and focus a lot on the importance of baptism and becoming eternal families. When we started teaching about life after death and the spirit world, she stopped us and asked me, "Elder, I was talking to my mother the day before she died. As I talked to her, an overwhelming feeling of peace and calm came over me and I knew everything was going to be alright. Where did those feelings come from?" As she asked me that inspired question, I thought back to my experience when my sister Emily passed away. I was able to testify to her that those feelings come from the Holy Ghost and that in times of need, it acts as the Comforter and gives us that peace and that hope that everything will be alright. I testified to her that her mom lives, that my sister lives, and that we will one day be able to be eternal families if we just follow the path that God has made for us. We then taught her about how after baptism we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and we can have that constant companionship for the rest of our lives. Then out of nowhere she said, "I want to be baptized." WOW. It spirit was so strong and powerful. We set the date for the 9th of march. One of the biggest miracles I've seen on my mission so far. I love the Spirit and I love the plan of salvation.

Is any thing too hard for the Lord?

Genesis 18:14

She buzzed us up and when she answered the door she was still in her Pajamas (at 5 in the afternoon) and her house was a disaster. She said she was going out and didn't have a lot of time. We asked if there was anything we could help her with. She hesitated and let us in. I saw a pile of dishes the size of mount Everest in her sink and so we started scrubbing away. My companion helped me dry and swept and mopped her floors and generally straightened everything up. Poor Rosemary. She is soooo overwhelmed with life. After helping her get things in order a bit better we prayed and read a little bit in the Book of Mormon with her. We had her say the prayer at the end and in it she said "Thank you for sending me the missionaries when I needed them the most." She came to church (ON TIME!) yesterday and we had a cita with her yesterday afternoon and she wants to get baptized! We set a tentative fecha for the 16th and she is going to pray about it today and will let us know tomorrow what she is feeling! esta semana yo quiero enfocarme en servir mas a mi compaero , a veces pienso que no le sirvo tanto como el me sirve a mi as que me esforzare en eso.

On Saturday we had the best contact that weve had in a while. We had sat down to wait for the train to come at 9:30 and this lady walked by us and was standing up. She was just a normal Spaniard that was about 32 years old. My companion and I were talking and I looked at her and I felt strongly that we had to talk to her so I nudged my companion and said " lets contact that lady". My companion asked her if shed been taught by us before, and she told us that she hadnt. Then he asked her if shed like to....To our surprise she answered, "Si, me gust aria" We then talked to her about the church after getting on the train and she gave us her number. I also asked if she had any family or friends that would like to meet with us too, and she answered, "Si, mi Hermana, y mi Madre!!". Well be having a visit with her this week and for some reason I feel like she is going to be baptized. I just have strong feeling about her, that she is a chosen one! I think I have knocked more doors here in Lleida than I have my entire mission. Ha-ha it is truly a great experience knocking doors. Elder Ferrer has showed me the way to do it effectively. Now, I really do like it.

On Monday we got a call from one of the members in our ward, who is a convert of about a year and a half. She asked if we could come by on Saturday to talk to some of her friends about the church and to teach them. We arrived and everything just went literally perfectly. We had the Spirit with us testifying the whole time, because before the lesson we had been knocking doors and doing our best to find people on the street. I knew that if was going to be prepared people in that visit, then we also needed to be prepared for them, so we got prepared! We met Carlos and Teresa, and I dont know what to say about them other than that they are prepared people! After him asking us about tons of his questions we just took it slow and taught the first lesson, putting his questions aside for another visit. I dont really know how to describe the lesson other than that it was led by the Spirit. At the end they, of course, accepted to be baptized, and they were just excited to learn more about the church. They came to church yesterday and afterwards just told us how much the enjoyed it. What a wonderful blessing it was to get the pilas recharged by specialized training, and then get some fechas from a member who is on the ball! Having the faith to find brings blessings.
