Offering a great new way to increase efficiency through easy communications, Optus Push to Talk lets you communicate
directly with individuals or teams. Whether you need to speak to staff in the warehouse or a fleet of sales staff, Optus
Push to Talk will have you talking immediately.
WHAT IS PUSH TO TALK?
Push to Talk offers a new method of communication. Its just like walkie talkie communication but it works on your
mobile, across Australia within Optus Mobile coverage.
Push to Talk is a great new feature on compatible mobile handsets and can be used in addition to your regular features
such as regular voice, SMS and VoiceMail.
Push to Talk connects you to individuals, or a group of people at the push of a button.
You simply set up your Talk Groups of one or multiple people using the Contacts List in your phone, then when youre
ready to talk follow the easy steps.
1. Select the group that you want to speak to.
2. Push the button on the side of your phone.
3. Speak.
Your voice is then broadcast over their mobile handset loudspeaker(s), and people can respond, one at a time, by using the
push button on their phone in the same way.
From the building site to sales fleets, Push to Talk can improve co-ordination and communication in many situations, by
allowing everyone to interact simply and immediately.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR PUSH TO TALK
An Optus Mobile service and GPRS set up.
An Optus Push to Talk compatible mobile handset.
The people you want to talk to must also have a Push to Talk compatible mobile handset and be on the
Optus Mobile network.
HOW MUCH IS PUSH TO TALK?
BY THE DAY A daily fee covers your Push to Talk usage for that day*,
and if you dont Push to Talk, you dont pay.
It costs nothing to receive a Push to Talk call, unless
you are roaming overseas on an Optus roaming network.

FEATURES
Great for small groups or working teams, Push to Talk allows for quick responses and immediate decision-making.
Easy to set up groups simply use your existing phone contacts. Up to 50 Talk Groups can be set up, with up to 6 people
within each group (increased group size available for eligible customers).
Responses are queued to avoid people talking over the top of each other.
A Contact Status menu item in your phone allows you to see who in your group is available, and you can show them
when you are unavailable. This helps to avoid phone tag because everyone knows whos present.
Call Back Alert lets you send a message asking someone to call you using Push to Talk. eg. Ring me when youre free.
Push to Talk across Australia to Optus customers with a compatible mobile, anywhere on the Optus Mobile network.
1. To use Push to Talk you must be an Optus Post-Paid customer with an Optus Push to Talk compatible handset. 2. Push to Talk communication must be on the Optus Post-Paid GSM network only. 3.
Message delivery success, message delivery time and call initiation time may be variable. 4. SMS sent from a PTT handset to register for Push to Talk or to invite participation in a group will be charged
at the customers agreed SMS rate and customers will incur a charge of two SMS per invite. 5. Customers who use Push to Talk overseas will be charged GPRS roaming rates in addition to the Push
to Talk charges and will be charged per kilobyte for voice messages both sent and received. 6. Push to Talk in whole or part may be suspended, changed or terminated at any time without notice. 7.
Optus Fair GoTM Policy applies. Up to 150 minutes per month for daily charges and 200 minutes per month for monthly charges. 8. On daily charging you will incur the daily fee in any 24-hour period,
from 3.00am Sydney EST, that you initiate a Push to Talk call on the service. You will be charged $0.95 per day (GST inc) 9. Customers must request Optus to cancel the Push to Talk service if no longer
