TO MEASURE JOB SATISFACTION LEVEL OF EMPLOYEES

Introduction To the study:


Job satisfaction describes the commitment of an individual toward his or her work. Many vital factors in an organisation goes hand in hand with job satisfaction such as growth of the organisation, less turn over, smooth working environment , less grievances and conflicts etc. we can say that increased job satisfaction produces improved job performance . Satisfied employees tend to be more productive, creative and committed to their employers. Job satisfaction represents an attitude rather than behaviour. The belief that satisfied employees are more productive than dissatisfied employees has been a basic tenet among managers for years. Human resource is considered to be the most valuable asset in an any organisation the employees performance influenced by motivation and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction refers to a person feeling of satisfaction on the job which acts as a motivation to work. Job satisfaction refers to absence of employees motivation at work.

Detailed information will not be provided as the same as it is kept confidential. A complete study of the satisfaction could not be made due to short span of time.

To know the various safety measures provided by the organization for employees.

Scope of the study:


This study helps to know the culture and environment of the organisation. The project aims to study the effectiveness of job satisfaction of employees at various levels in the company. To evaluate the contribution of the employees towards the future growth of the company based on the analysis of job satisfaction.

Research Design:
Type of research: The type of research used is descriptive research. This attempts to give more of meaning and understanding to the subject. Types of data: The relevant data for the study is collected through, Primary Data: The primary data is collected by means of Questionnaires. Secondary Data: Secondary data for the purpose of this study is collected company website, Journals, Magazines, books. Tools of Data collection: The tools used is structured undisguised Questionnaires.

2.6 SAMPLING Sampling plan: Random Sampling. The research work of this study is carried out by way of random sampling. The data will be collected from 100 respondents. Area of Survey: Madura Garments Export ltd Hongasandra, Bangalore. PLAN OF ANALYSIS Appropriate Statistical tools will be used. The study will analyze the facts pertaining to the aspects of employees satisfaction towards their job in the organisation.

Statistical Tools for Data Analysis Hypothesis:. HYPOTHESIS H0 : Job satisfaction of employees is only due to effective salary package. H1 : Job satisfaction of employees is not only due to effective salary package

Limitations of the study:


This study has Important limitations some limitations, which are as follows: Important limitation is most of the respondents are not having proper education. Most of them are coming from rural areas. The respondents may be biased in giving correct answers. Due to the work pressure respondents could not give time for answering the questionnaire. CHAPTER SCHEME Chapter1:Introduction: The study includes an introduction to the broad area of the topic, specific area of the

topic and an introduction to the topic itself. Chapter2 : Research design : provides a plan of the study, which include statement of the problem, need for study/significance, review of few previous studies, objectives, operational definition of concepts, hypotheses, scope, methodology, sample design, sources of data, tools and techniques for data collection, plan of analysis, limitations and overview of chapter scheme. Chapter3: Analysis and Interpretation of Data: It includes the industry profile. i.e., history of the industry, nature of business, products & services etc. Chapter 4 : Summary of Findings, Conclusions and Suggestion: provides an Analysis of data with required interpretation. The information obtained is reduced to tables and graphs and charts. Inferences are drawn following the interpretation of the tabl. Conclusions and recommendations will be provided on the basis findings.

BIBLIOGRAPHY: This chapter deals with the list of various books, articles,
websites that are referred and used in the research on training activities and employee learning capability.

ANNEXURE: This chapter includes the pictures, the data used for the calculations
supporting interpretation etc.
