Karmenu Vella, an architect by profession is since 1976 a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Malta and currently shadow finance minister for the Opposition and consultant to the General Workers Union. His previous posts included Minister for Tourism, Minister for Industry, Minister for Public Works, and Executive Chairman of Corinthia Hotels International.

Joe Cappello
Joe Cappello graduated from the University of Malta as an economist in 1974. Joined Air Malta in 1976 and spent the next 35 years mostly in the companys commercial field including General Manager UK, and Chief Commercial Officer. Later he was appointed Chief Operating Officer, and CEO for the entire Air Malta Group during the last 5 years. For several years sat on the board of directors of the Malta Tourism Authority.

Michael Abele
Michael Abele following completion of studies in his native Germany moved to Malta in 1987 and joined Mondial Holidays a leading travel agency established in 1947. Occupied various commercial roles to end up General Manager in 2005. Recently joined Orange Travel Group and occupies the post of Group Commercial Director.

Kevin Farrugia
Kevin Farrugia is a certified public accountant, a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and of the Malta Institute of Accountants. He previously held various posts at the Corinthia Group of Hotels, Gasan Group, and Alf. Mizzi & Sons Group. His current positions at Orange Travel Group are those of Group Director of Finance as well as official Company Secretary.

Martin Degiorgio
Martin Degiorgio upon completion of studies joined Mondial Holidays, the then 40-year-old family business and transformed it into a leading outbound travel agency. Joined Orange in 2011 upon the merger of Mondial with the outbound business of the SMS Group. Currently occupies the position of Group Managing Director.

Simon Mifsud Samuel Mifsud

Samuel Mifsud, also known as Sam, joined the SMS Group, the family business upon completing his studies in the UK and Switzerland. Occupied various posts within the Group and currently Managing Director of the Travel & Tourism Divisions. Was Chairman and for a while Executive Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority between 2006 and 2009. Vice-President of Sheffied United FC. Simon Mifsud graduated in Law in 1991 and subsequently Masters in Law in 1992. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1992 and following this joined the SMS Group, the family business that was established in 1950. He has occupied various posts within the Group and currently Managing Director of the Logistics, Insurance and Corporate Services Divisions.
