Task Two (2.5 mins.) In Task Two you and the examiner are going to talk together about Czech holidays. Imagine the following situation: Your English-speaking friend is showing you two photographs and wants you to tell him/her as much as possible about these Czech holidays. The examiner is going to play the role of your friend and will start the conversation.

Task One (2.5 mins.) In this task you are going to speak on your own about four important holidays and celebrations in the US using the greeting cards on your task sheet. Are you ready? Q: What do you know about the origins of this holiday? Q: What does the Thanksgiving greeting card show? Q: Is Halloween celebrated in the Czech Republic? Q: What does Trick or Treat mean? Q: What else can you see in the greeting card?

Q: Is it common for women to bake cookies in your country? Q: Which traditions do you keep at home?
