    MARY ELLEN BRANDELL VOLUNTEER CENTER Public Relations Intern Designed the centers monthly newsletter sent out to student, faculty and alumni subscribers detailing volunteer opportunities across campus. Organized the Volunteers are Central award and contacted winners as well as conducted video interviews on their outstanding volunteer experiences. PAINT CREEK CENTER FOR THE ARTS Public Relations Intern Wrote a series of nine press releases for the Regional Art & Culture Awards event which received local media coverage as well as press releases for the annual Art & Apples Festival and upcoming art class offerings. Designed a newsletter sent out to participating artists in the Art & Apples Festival as well as post cards reminding them of important dates. Updated and organized the centers media list. Mt. Executive Board Director of Public Relations Aug. 2012-present Chaired the nine member publications committee while designing and producing the chapters newsletter, Central PRemiere which is distributed to the chapters 80+ paid members as well as faculty in the journalism department. Redesigned the chapters website, implemented a blog and was responsible for editing and updating it weekly. Managed the chapters Facebook and Twitter pages while increasing the number of Twitter followers by 25%.
