High Quality Fingerprint Scanners with Liveness Detection Made in Germany

The Dermalog LF10 is the first Tenprint Live Scanner with integrated Spoof Detection / Liveness Detection - based on dedicated hardware and software. Each fingerprint scanned by the LF10 undergoes a complete analysis of the spectroscopic and optical features. This prevents biometric sytems like border control, access control, payment systems and many other applications from attacks with fake fingers - and even from being spoofed by cut off fingers. Specific parameters of the human tissue and its circulatory are analyzed by dedicated hardware of the Dermalog LF10 scanner, in order to detect any type of fakes. Those values are automatically compared with the regular human skin features in order to give a warning, if a finger is not found to be live. DERMALOG is a pioneer and world leader in Fingerprint Spoof Detection and Liveness Detection with many years of research and development in this field. DERMALOG has also achieved the best results in the first software based International Fingerprint Liveness Detection Competition - LivDet 2009.
