Step-2>> As you press on the Design Editior the Zuken Cadstar window will gets open on your screen. Click on the close option in the Tip of the day window.
Step-3>> As you press close on the tip of the day window then by default the last design which you made will get open.
Step-6>> As you press on the new a new name window will get appear on your screen.
Step-7>> In new window select the PCB Design option and in PCB Design select 2 Layer 1.6mm.
Step-8>> As you select the PCB Layer the work space will get open on your screen.
Shape Defaults
Step-12>> After Placing the interactive origin go on the Menu Bar and click on the Shape default icon.
Step-13>> As you click on the Shape Defaults icon a new Defaults window will gets open on your screen.
Thou Step-15>> Now Click on the Thou and as you click on the Thou a new Units window will get appeared on your screen.
Step-16>> Click on the Down arrow on the Units option and select the Millimetres.
Add Rectangle
Step-17>> Now again go to the Menu Bar and select the Add Rectangle option.
Step-18>> Now put your cursor at the (0,0) orientation of the origin.
LIBRARIES
Step-20>> Now select the Libraries from the left side of the page.
Step-22>> Now for selecting the components write there names in between two (*) stars. Like *Dip 14* for selecting the 14 pin Ic.
Step-24>> As you confirm about the component which u need by seeing It shape select the component by clicking on it and drag it on right side. As you drag it a Component window will gets appear on the screen. Now givw the same exact name to the component which you gave in the orcad design.
Step-25>> Now place the Ic dip package on the work-space. Press one time on the workspace if you need one Ic and preaa Esc key on keyboard.
Step-28>> It ask for The component name give the resistance name as per your orcad design.
Step-31>> Now type pitch.2 for two pin connector. And gave the name J2.
Step-34>> Now type the TO-220 TRAN for three pin connector. And gave the name on the connector.
Step-35>> Now place the connector on the workspace. Now if you two same shape components then click on the mouse two times.
Step-39>> Now you see that the board which we selected is too big. So just select the corner of the frame.
Step-41>> If you want to change the name of the componenet then just double click on the name. As you double click on the name of the component then Item Properties- Component name window will get appears on your screen.
Step-42>> Write the J3 on the place of the J2 and press the ok.
Step-43>> After selecting the components go to the File at the Menu bar.
Step-45>> Now the Import Design will gets appeared on your screen. In Format option select the OrcadPCB Netlist .
Step-46>> And Browse the location of your Orcad net list file.
Step-47>> as you select the location of your netlist file if no error will occur then connections will get appeared on your screen.
Step-49>> Now for moving the components select the particular component and press the F3 for rotation.
Step-54>> For redusing the size of the board follow step-39 and Step-40.
Embedded Router
Step-56>> As goes in the embedded router the options in the menu bar will get changed. Now the routing is done on the botton electric layer so go tho the setting option in menu bar and select the routing layers.
Step-57>> In routing layer window select the Bottom electric and click on ok.
Manual Route
Step-60>> Now start making connections. Note: The connections will be on 45 degree to avoid power loss.
Step-61>> If you want to change the width of the connection the select the connection line and click on the write side of the mouse and select item properties option. At the place of width write any of the the width between 0.127-1.016.
Step-62>> When all the connections were done then go to the menu bar and select Exit Embedded Router.
Step-73>> When you come out from embedded router your design will looks like this.
Step-65>> Now go to the file and select the Manufacturing Export and Artwork.
Step-74>> This is the main design which we will have take out on the glossy paper.
