AVERTISMENT Aceast publicaie conine o colecie de termeni privind domeniul vamal. Termenii n limbile francez, englez i german au fost iniial selectai i extrai din Regulamentul de instituire a Codului Vamal Comunitar de terminologi din cadrul Comisiei Europene. Termenii echivaleni n limba romn au fost adugai de terminologii Direciei Coordonare Traduceri din cadrul Institutului European din Romnia. Dei termenii au fost verificai cu atenie, acetia pot suferi modificri, cu att mai mult cu ct un numr din ce n ce mai mare de acte legislative comunitare se traduc integral n limba romn. Prin urmare, prezenta ediie trebuie considerat provizorie. Terminologia romneasc va fi definitiv numai atunci cnd actele legislative relevante vor fi adoptate oficial, la momentul aderrii Romniei la Uniunea European. Este interzis reproducerea acestei publicaii n scopuri comerciale. DISCLAIMER This publication contains a collection of terms relating to the customs domain. The French, English and German terms were originally selected and extracted by terminologists at the European Commission from the Regulation establishing the Community Customs Code. The Romanian equivalents have been added by terminologists at the Translation Coordination Unit in the European Institute of Romania. Although the terms have been carefully checked, they may be subject to amendment, especially as an increasing number of the full legal texts are translated into Romanian. The current edition should therefore be regarded as provisional. The Romanian terminology will become definitive only when the relevant legal texts have been officially adopted at the time of accession of Romania to the European Union. CUVNT NAINTE Codul Vamal Comunitar reunete dispoziiile privind domeniul vamal ntr-un instrument juridic unic, esenial pentru armonizarea terminologiei att la nivelul Comunitii, ct i la cel al administraiilor naionale. Acest vocabular multilingv a fost alctuit pe baza Regulamentului1 de instituire a Codului Vamal Comunitar i este o a doua ediie a vocabularului publicat n 1991, mbogit i actualizat. Prima ediie are la baz propunerea de Regulament2 de instituire a Codului Vamal Comunitar i a fost alctuit cu scopul de a fi un ajutor imediat pentru traducerea dispoziiilor de punere n aplicare. La alctuirea acestui glosar s-a inut seama de observaiile specialitilor din domeniu. n anul 2002, Direcia Coordonare Traduceri din cadrul Institutului European din Romnia a adugat termenii echivaleni n limba romn.
Mulumim Serviciului de Traduceri al Comisiei Europene de la Bruxelles pentru amabilitatea de a ne fi pus la dispoziie acest glosar i pentru sprijinul tehnic oferit. FOREWORD The Community Customs Code brings the provisions on customs matters together in a single legal instrument and is thus fundamental to the harmonization of terminology at the levels of both Community and national administrations. The multilingual vocabulary presented here has been compiled from the Regulation1 establishing the Community Customs Code and constitutes a second, enlarged and updated edition of the vocabulary published in 1991. The first edition was based on the proposal for a Regulation2 establishing the Community Customs Code and was intended as an immediate aid to the translation of the implementing provisions. Specialists in the field have been consulted and account has been taken of their comments. In 2002, the Translation Coordination Unit of the European Institute of Romania added the Romanian equivalents to this glossary.
