Catalog Introduction

This 2008 Zetec catalog is focused on the Eddy Current Tubing Inspection Equipment product line. The approach of creating a catalog specific to a product line and market will make it simpler to identify the products and services you are looking for. Zetec also has a companion catalog for your market that includes all of the eddy current tubing inspection probe products. This catalog represents the most common products for the eddy current inspection of ferrous and non-ferrous tubing. You will notice some new items within this catalog and may also notice some items have been removed as they are less common or not part of the current product line. Zetec maintains an internal database of the unpublished catalog items which will contain spare parts, non common and some legacy products still in limited production. If you dont find what you are looking for in the way of Eddy Current Tubing Inspection Products, dont hesitate to contact Zetec Customer Service customerservice@zetec.com to discuss your particular needs. With this catalog, Zetec is also the process of updating our operational database and to support this transition, we are changing our numbering scheme to better support you, the customer. We are eliminating the practice of using generic catalog numbers that were used to describe many variants of the same product. The products within this catalog carry Item numbers that have a one-to-one relationship with the products we build and ship eliminating the confusion in understanding what was ordered to what was received. Another new feature is the use of Acronyms for all of our products similar to what has been used with the probe products for many years. Like the new item numbers, each acronym is unique to a single product design. The hierarchy within the acronyms provide for a natural grouping of products when a list is sorted based on this attribute making it easier for you to manage your inventory of Zetec products. MIZ-80iD System
Zetecs MIZ-80iD represents a breakthrough in technology to provide highly efficient and cost effective eddy current inspections of tubing in nuclear power plants. It combines a powerful eddy current instrument plus controllers for MRPC probes, probe driver, and power supplies into one compact modular package. Together these modules maintain the same footprint as the widely-used Zetec 10D Probe Pusher. Each module is lightweight, easy to connect, configurable in either left or right hand setups. One operator can easily install and remove the entire system. The integration of the probe pusher, pusher controls and eddy current instrument significantly reduces setup time and eliminates the need for the eddy current analog data slip ring, probe adapters and probe extension cables. The design of the enclosures and housings of the MIZ-80iD are engineered to provide a Faraday Cage to improve immunity to external noise sources that can affect the integrity of the eddy current data.

TC7700 Remote Data Acquisition System

Zetecs TC7700 is focused towards the inservice inspection of nuclear power plant steam generator tubes. The design of the TC7700 instrument supports simultaneous operation of multiple probes in the multifrequency, multi-excitation, multi-timeslot for pure or combination simultaneous frequency injection as well as individual frequency multiplexed modes. The TC7700 is integrated with Zetecs EddynetSuite eddy current software. The TC7700 supports bobbin, MRPC, and array probe technologies.

The High-Speed 3D Probe Pusher System is a variable-speed probe driver with separate control box and power supply for inspecting balance-of-plant (BOP) tubing. The controller provides independent forward and reverse controls, as well as variable speed settings and constant probe speed regulation. With the High-Speed 3D Probe Pusher system, you can drive the probe at speeds up to 72 inches/second. The probe pusher provides enough torque to successfully test tubes full length without preliminary cleaning. Several styles of slip rings or the Conduit Probe Gun are also available as options for the system.

10D4 Modular Probe Pusher
The 10D4 Probe Pusher is completely modular. Its design consists of two main modulesthe Pusher Head and Drive-Gearbox assemblies. Modules are interchangeable as well as configured with different options to optimize the probe pusher for its specific application. Two mirror-image probe pushers combine to form a compact dual unit or separate easily for a convenient space saving layout. Access when servicing the drive wheels or changing probes is straight-forward without any extra component disassembly. With versatility in mind, probe control can be either independent or simultaneous, depending on your selected test plan. Powered by a DC Brushless Servo Motor with resolver feedback, the 10D4 Probe Pusher allows precision control of the probes travel speed. Innovative motion control circuitry provides smooth transition between low- and high-speeds without time-consuming gear changes. The 10D System can be purchased in either Right-Hand or Left-Hand configurations and available options and accessories can allow the Take-Up reel to be remotely positioned from the pusher head. EddynetSuite
Zetecs EddynetSuite software is a complete eddy current inspection software platform providing data management, acquisition, data quality verification and analysis. EddynetSuite is capable of acquiring and analyzing eddy current using bobbin, MRPC and Array probe technologies. EddynetSuite is compatible with multiple eddy current instruments and acquisition systems. Contact Zetec Customer Service for details on system options.

Options and License Terms EddynetSuite software is offered in a choice of two separate License to Use (LTU) term programs. The purchase of an EddynetSuite LTU license grants the user authorization for installation and use of the Eddynet software product for the term of the LTU license period purchased. Renewal of the license is required for uninterrupted operation of the software beyond the term of the license. Full details of the rights and restrictions are available in the EddynetSuite End Users License Agreement (EULA). The annual LTU license term will begin on the date the authorization password is supplied by Zetec and will automatically expires at the one year anniversary. Daily LTU license terms begin on the date of the authorization password from Zetec and will be charged at the daily calculated rate for term of activation until a cancellation request with password is provided to Zetec. User Support The purchase of an EddynetSuite software LTU provides the user with up to 2 hrs of initial installation and operation call-in support. Software training in the use of EddynetSuite is available in the Training section of the Zetec catalog. Legacy Version Support Eddynet98 software is no longer available for purchase or support. Eddynet11i software is available for support billed at Zetec standard rates but is not available for purchase of new LTU Term licenses.

Machine Vision Controller System
Zetecs Machine Vision product has two goals Auto-Acquisition and Independent Tube Verification. As a modular control unit, Machine Vision interfaces directly into the same network as data acquisition and analysis. Machine Vision uses a supplemental camera to continuously collect "screen grab" images and communicate tube location as the fixture moves. These images provide tube verification that is independent from the Zetec fixture locating method. Using known tube sheet parameters and minimal calibration to set up, Machine Vision tracks the tube sheet as the fixture moves. Results are an independent tube verification system that ensures the Zetec Remote Fixture correctly locates and services the tube of interest. With Machine Vision, the Zetec Remote fixture locates accurately with every movement and eliminates the need for operators to manually jog the guide tube into position under a tube. Probe Gun Conduit Probe Gun with Model III Controls
Zetecs Conduit Probe Gun is specifically designed for balance-of-plant (BOP) and other industrial heat exchanger tubing inspections. Design features include a pistol grip that provides easy positioning of the guide tube over the target area of the tube sheet. Once positioned, the pistol grip has a conveniently located switch for reverse and forward control of the probe pusher. 7. Training

Training classes are considered to be either Formal or Informal. Formal classes have strict guidelines for duration and content. They include written and/or practical examinations that could lead to qualification for certification. Informal courses (ETD) are normally designed and scheduled based on customer needs and do not include examinations. Any of these courses could be presented at customer facilities given the right circumstances. The cost for this service would be based on a fixed daily fee for the Instructor teaching and travel time plus all expenses. Five to six students from the same organization normally make it more cost effective to the customer for us to provide the training at customer facilities. Quotes are available upon request. Student tests and certificates will be sent to the customer after payment is received. Scheduling as early as possible is strongly recommended. 8. Ordering Information

Prices
All prices are quoted in US dollars or Canadian dollars depending on customer region and product. Prices are subject to annual or periodic adjustments and may be made at any time without prior notice. Beginning November 1 2008 and each November 1 thereafter, prices quoted will be based on the following years pricing. Exceptions to this policy will apply only to orders placed and accepted by Zetec for delivery prior to December 31. In these cases, current year pricing will apply. Domestic Terms of Sales: All prices are FOB Sellers place of business or manufacturing plant. International Terms of Sales: All prices are FCA Sellers place of business or manufacturing plant according to 1990 or 2000 INCOTERMS. Minimum Order: Zetec requires a $250 minimum purchase on each order. All prices exclude shipping costs and sales tax. Shipping charges will be billed to the customer if prepaid and are not included in purchase or rental charges. Applicable sales tax will be added to your invoice.

Shipments
Please provide your company-preferred carrier with account number at order placement. Shipping insurance will not be added unless specifically indicated on the purchase order. Orders placed without shipping instructions will be shipped best way at Zetecs discretion with the appropriate shipping, forwarding and insurance costs added to the invoice. Some catalog items do not include shipping cases. Where applicable, optional shipping cases are listed for purchase, and are a recommended option to protect your equipment during shipment and storage.

Terms
Zetec, Inc.s standard payment terms are net 30 days (based on approved credit) unless special written arrangements have been made. Zetec may, at any time, suspend performance of any order or require payment in advance when, in Zetecs opinion, the financial condition of the Buyer, or other grounds for insecurity warrant such action. Zetec reserves the right to assess late charges on accounts due past the 30 days at the rate of 18% per annum. 9. Return Policy & Fees

Return Policy
Before returning items (uncontaminated only), obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To obtain an RMA number, contact Zetec Customer Service and provide the following information: Reason for return Date of purchase Purchase order number (on the packing slip) Zetec reference number (on the packing slip)

Include the RMA number with the shipment. Shipments received without an RMA number will be held until the RMA is issued. If you suspect damage by the carrier, request that the carriers agent be present when the shipment is unpacked. If concealed damage is found, we recommend that you immediately file a claim directly with the freight carrier. Items requesting return due to excess customer inventory will require prior approval and will be subject to a restocking fee. This applies to standard catalog items only. Special designs and non-catalog items can not be returned.

Expedite Fee
Expedite fees apply to any order placed with requested delivery date less than 14 days or with a delivery date less than originally quoted. A minimum 15% Expedite Fee will be charged for expedited orders.

Warranty & Quality Information

Quality Information
Maintaining a high level of quality for our products and services is of utmost importance to Zetec. Our quality system is designed to ensure that we consistently provide you with the highest quality products and services. Zetecs quality system has been ISO 9001 registered since 1994. We currently maintain an ISO 9001 registration covering our hardware and software products in addition to our inspection services. We also maintain an ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for nondestructive testing services and our Quality System meets the 10CFR50 Appendix B quality assurance criteria for the nuclear power industry.

Product Warranties
All Zetec products, including consumables are delivered with Zetecs promise to provide goods that are manufactured to be suitable for the intended purpose, functional and free from defects as per the agreed conditions of sale. Major Electronic and Mechanical equipment is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship for a period on year from the date of shipment. Probes, Cables and Spare Parts are considered consumables therefore are warranted to the original purchaser at delivery to be free of defects in material, workmanship and to meet the specific design requirements and pass the specific quality checks at time of manufacture. Customer paid equipment repair will be warranted for 90 days (parts and labor). This warranty is limited to failures in the areas related to the subject repair. The customer is responsible and will be charged for the recalibration of equipment where the calibration has been voided by the repair activity. O.E.M. Equipment not manufactured by Zetec will be covered by the original manufacturers warranty. Zetec does not warrant against defects caused by damage, misuse, abnormal operating conditions, alterations or conditions of nature such as fire, flood, wind and lightning. Any non-confirming items shall be subject to repair, replacement or refund at Zetecs option if such conditions are identified within 30 days of the initial shipment. Equipment warranty does not include periodic calibration or normal maintenance as described in the Zetec operating manuals. All returned merchandise must be sent freight prepaid by buyer, properly boxed to prevent damage in transit and be accompanied by a Zetec issued Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
