The University of Vaasa is a multidisciplinary university offering degrees at all academic levels from Bachelors to Doctors. The teaching and research activities of the University focus on business studies, administration, technology, languages and communication. The maritime campus offers a modern study environment for approximately 5 000 students. About 11 per cent of the students are international students from all around the world.

Masters Degree Programme in International Business The Masters Degree Programme in International Business focuses on the identification and management of challenges arising from planning, controlling, and coordinating business activities on an international scale. The programme leads to a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration degree. Masters Degree Programme in Finance The Masters Degree Programme in Finance focuses on the theory of finance and financial analysis from an international perspective. The areas covered by the programme include corporate finance, investments, and option theory. The degree awarded by the programme is a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration. Masters Degree Programme in Intercultural Studies in Communication and Administration The Masters Degree Programme in Intercultural Studies in Communication and Administration focuses on questions of identity and cultural difference and how these affect peoples behaviour in international and intercultural contexts, combining humanities with management theories. The programme leads to a Master of Arts or Master of Administrative Sciences degree. Masters Programme in Telecommunication Engineering The Masters Programme in Telecommunication Engineering covers the basic technology, systems, and software tools needed in building communication networks and network services. The Masters Programme in Telecommunication Engineering leads to a Master of Science in Technology degree. Masters Programme in Industrial Management The Masters Programme in Industrial Management is oriented in the field of International Technology Management. The programme includes two fields of specialisation: technology management (material and production technology) or design management. Admission is based on the required documents Students must have completed a Bachelors degree in a field related to the programme of choice Fees and Permits There is no application fee for the Masters Programmes There are no tuition fees. However, students are required to pay the Student Union fee of approximately 100 euros annually Non-EU residents require a residence permit obtained from the Finnish Diplomatic Mission in the applicants home country. Students may only issue the application after acceptance into the programme. Living Arrangements The cost of living in Vaasa, Finland ranges from 500 to 700 euros per month Accommodation in Vaasa is provided by VOAS student housing foundation
