An Ideal English Teacher

There are many criteria of an ideal English teacher. In my opinion, an ideal English teacher is a teacher
who has capability, responsibility, and good personality.
By his or her capability, he or she will be able to transfer the knowledge successfully. The
capability involves capability of delivering knowledge, pronouncing well, transferring original English
culture, and making good relationship with the students.
He/she also has to have responsibility, especially to be responsible for the truth or accuracy of
knowledge and information related to English. It won't make the students get misinformation, such as in
pronunciation, structure and the English culture. He or she should also be responsible in giving score.
The third criterion of an ideal teacher is he or she should have good personality. By his or
her good personality, he or she will be a model for his or her students. He or she must be able to perform
his or her role as the facilitator in learning process. If he or she can do them well, he or she will be
respected by his or her students for not only his or her expertise but also his or her good manner or
personality.
The three criterions must be owned by an English teacher who wants to be an ideal teacher.

STATE OF THE EARTH-THE FACTS

1995 was the warmest year on record, and the ten hottest years in recorded human history have all been in
the 1980 and 1990s. The earth has this century undergone the fastest warming since the end of the last Ice
Age around 10.000 years ago.

The major impact on the atmosphere is the release of carbon dioxide throughout burning fossil fuels such
as oil and coal, which creates a greenhouse effect. A warmer world would bring higher sea level as well
as more frequent floods, droughts and hurricanes.

Carbon Emissions
Industrial nations are still responsible for almost half the carbon emissions, despite making up only 15%
of the world's population. But the developing world is fast closing this gap, while the emissions of
former Eastern Bloc countries have recently fallen
