Lent Prayer Opportunities and Spiritual Reading Materials: The Stations of the Cross will be prayed on Wednesday at 6:30 PM, with the Rosary beginning at 6:00, and a Communion Service following the Stations, about 7:00. The Church is open for private prayer during Parish Office hours. A Holy Week/Triduum bulletin insert describes the liturgies & prayer opportunities for the week. Weekly devotional sheets are on the table near the stairs. Religious Education for Children/Youth: After our Passion (Palm) Sunday/Triduum Family Session on Sunday, th st th March 24 , we will observe a break on Easter Sunday, March 31 . Sessions will resume as scheduled on April 7 . Please keep in your prayers our First Communion candidates: Abby Alvey, Jaidyn Brody and Lauren Campbell. Adult Faith Formation: The 5 session of the Psalm Study will resume on Thursday, April 4 at 6:30 PM, and on th Friday, April 5 , at 10:30 AM. Spencer County Food Pantry: The non-perishable food that we collect goes to the Multi-Purpose Community Action Agency to assist families in need. Knights of Columbus Corporate Communion Sunday: Because of the Easter Solemnity, the Knights will not th st th celebrate their 5 Sunday Corporate Communion on March 31 . The next Corporate Communion Mass is June 30 . Plant and Grounds: We would like to thank those parishioners who repaired the water line break near the Parish Hall. Once the ground has settled, the sidewalk will be replaced and landscaping will be restored. Adam Carricos Diaconate Ordination will be celebrated by Archbishop Joseph Kurtz on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Aloysius Catholic Church, 212 Mt. Mercy Drive, Pewee Valley, Kentucky 40056. This ordination precedes his ordination to priesthood. The people of the archdiocese are encouraged to attend this joyful celebration. Birthday Blessings: 3/23 Dennis Eisenback, Donna Morgan; 3/27 Tommy Burns, Greg Bubba Eiden, Jr. Easter Masses: As in the past, the Easter Vigil Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier at 8:00 PM, and there will be no Vigil Mass at All Saints. Please make note that the Mass on Easter Sunday will be at 10:00 AM, a new time. Triduum/Holy Week Collections: The donations on Holy Thursday go to Catholic Relief Services Operation Rice Bowl. There are envelopes in your stewardship box, or you may use the envelope in the Rice Bowl. Fr. Dale would like the collection on Good Friday to go to Food for the Poor, because of their work in ministering to the poor. On Easter, there are two collections one for the parish, and the other to the Catholic Education Foundation. Please be sure to place your contribution in the correct envelope so that your intentions are honored. Thank you for your generosity. RCIA: You are asked to keep in your prayers the catechumens, candidates, sponsors and team member as they complete their preparations to receive the Sacraments.
