Recently, my fellow classmates and I, have been studying different religions.

We have chosen two religions to compare and contrast. I have selected the Islamic religion and Christianity.

Did you know over two billion people in the world are Christian? Christians believe that God sent his only son, Jesus, to earth to save people from their sins. But everyday the Roman Empire started to despise Jesus more and more until nally, they executed Jesus on a cross shape like a lower case T. Three days later Jesuss sprit gently swayed up to the sky and is now up in heaven with his father, God. Like some other religions, Christians gare monotheistic. That means that christian believe in one god, Not two or three Gods, one God. They also have a religious book called The holy bible. They believe that all of the stories in the book are not mythes but true. Like many religions Christians have some rules also known as the ten commandments. the commandments are: 1. Thou shalt not have other Gods. 2. No graven images or likeness. 3. Not take the Lords name in vain. 4. Remember the sabbath day. 5. Honour thy father and the mother. 6. Thou shalt not kill. 7. Thou shalt not commit adultery. 8. Thou shalt not steal. 9. Not bear false witness. 10.Thou shalt not covet. Christians believe that god made these rule (commandments) so you can arrive at heaven which is apparently a wonderful place and if you brake a rule you will go to hell which I learnt is a horrible place.

Now that you know some information on Christianity, you can learn some information on the Islamic religion. Islam is quite a difcult religion to follow.There are many rules to follow. Muslims (People who follow this religion,) believe in many things, One of the they believe in is not to eat pork.They believe that pigs meat is dirty unhealthy for you because they are quite dirty animals. Did you know when a baby is born the father of the baby whispers a pray in the babies right ear?Muslims believe it is respect to their God to say that the baby is now apart of our community. Also, the Islamic religion love to pray, they believe that if they pray, it will show god they respect him.But if you dont cleanse your selfs, God wont respect it. my opinion if you are very religious you would have a lot of work to do everyday.Well, I think so

Now we know about the Islamic religion and Christianity, it is we are now going to compare and contrast.As I said before, Christians, have a religious book and so do Muslims. Christians can eat meat but the Muslims cant.Christians are monotheistic the Muslims are too.

Now to conclude, you can see,these religions are different and alike in the same way. If you had to chose which religion would you pick?
