Senior Project Engineer

Job ID: 2103 Job Type: Permanent Location: APA, Singapore, Singapore Discipline: ENG: PROJECT ENGINEERING Start Date: 7 January 2013

Role Synopsis: Companys principal representative, who is responsible for all phases of Project Engineering execution, also accountable to the Companys EPFC Project Manager for Engineering Team Performance. A Project Engineering Manager will be assigned to large EPC projects involving multidiscipline engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Understand contractual requirements and communicate to the Engineering Team Coordinate efforts of the design team Focal point for technical issues/coordination between the Company, Supplier, Fabrication, Construction and Client Address and resolve scope cost changes and schedule impact issues with the Project Manager Communicate scope and design changes to the Project Team Ensure achievement of safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives Actively support constructability program and communicate constructability issues to discipline engineers Support the operability and maintainability programs Coordinate development of construction subcontract scope packages Address Engineering personnel performance issues Arrange and lead Project Engineering critique at project closure Schedule and coordinate design and safety reviews Ensure Document Management supports the projects needs Development and coordination of Engineering subcontracts Development of the Engineering execution plan Monitor quantity forecasting and trending Development and management of the detailed engineering schedule Development and management of the engineering staffing plan Communicate staffing needs to functional management. Management of the engineering schedule and budget reporting to the Project Manager Coordinate Equipment List
