Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts seeks a full-time Production Supervisor reporting to the Director of Production.

This position assists in all stage and performance related operations including planning, scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, event management and stage labor. The Production Supervisor will support all areas including but not limited to, production and labor scheduling, performance budgeting, planning and coordinating the use of all stages and stage related equipment. This position will maintain production accounts, provide budget reports, and facilitate all technical crew and designer payrolls, as well as general production expenses. Position will assist in the creation and oversight of all WACPA production policies, and assist in the supervision of stage labor in compliance with WACPA policies and procedures. Assume performance supervision role for all WACPA events, and stage manage special events or rentals as necessary, serve as an important logistics link and establish relationships with performers and renters and assist in determining services to be provided by WACPA. Applicants should have College degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of two years experience in theatrical production management. Experience in other performance related areas desired. Candidate should have knowledge of stage related activities such as stage management, carpentry, rigging, electrics, sound, properties, costumes/wardrobe, touring, special effects, mechanization, and drafting, ability to specify and secure outside services and materials to support WACPA productions as needed. A thorough familiarity with Excel and Word is required and an ability to draft in Auto/CAD and/or Vectorworks highly desired. A successful candidate will possess the ability to plan ahead and facilitate in problem solving, demonstrate strong communication skills with professional artists and inexperienced renters. Must be able to supervise and direct crew activities and to show initiative and work efficiently in stressful situations with strong organizational skills and work habits. Able to commit to long irregular hours. The WACPA is currently in construction in downtown Beverly Hills, CA with completion set for Spring of 2013.
