ave you ever realized that God was never known as Father until Jesus came to earth and revealed Him as such?

In His prayer to His Father, Jesus said, And I have declared to them Your Name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them. (John 17:26) Now, what name was Jesus referring to? It was the name Father. If there was anything close to Jesus heart, it was to introduce God as Father to us. In the Bible, Jesus said, Therefore, do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. (Matthew 6:3132) Once, He said, If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! (Matthew 7:11) Jesus wants you to always have one image of God in your mind that He is your Abba, Father. Why? Because He wants you to know that there is nothing more important or too insignificant for God when it concerns His child. Imagine a father playing with his five-year-old son, when he notices a splinter embedded in his little boys thumb. The concerned father asks, When did you get this? A few days ago. Why didnt you tell Daddy about it? Mummy said that Daddy was busy, and that I should not bother him about it. If you were that father, wouldnt it break your heart to hear your child say this to you? A splinter may be a tiny thing, but there is nothing too small when it concerns your child because if it affects your child, it affects you too. Now, you are Gods child, so dont think that your problem is too small for God. If it is important to you, it is important to Him too. Always remember that He is your Abba, Father!

The Root Cause Of Your Problem Is

Condemnation

This message is a reminder to all of us who have been listening to the gospel of grace for some time now. The Lord is revealing to us the secret to living a transformed life. Its time for us to remove all the buttons in our lives that the devil constantly presses. Lets get to the deepest root that causes all our problems.

God did not give the law for man to live by or to make man holy. God gave the law so that we know were sinners and we see our need for a Savior.

ecently, the Lord told me, Son, what I showed you some time ago that condemnation kills its time to take it seriously. Youve been preaching to the church about the dangers of stress, but theres a deeper root than stress.

Well, God said, In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread (Genesis 3:19) And sweat speaks of stress and self-effort. But if you go deeper, you will find that there was fear. Do you know what Adam said to God when God asked him where he was? He said, I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself. (Genesis 3:10) Adam was afraid. He was fearful. So the deeper root of stress is fear. But before he was fearful, he felt condemned.

Your Problems Are Not The Root

My friend, when you go through an evil day, you are like a sickly plant with sick leaves. You may have leaves of sickness, poverty, a broken marriage or depression in your life. But these are just the leaves. These are just the manifestations of the root. It would be foolish to attack the leaves because they are not the cause of your problems. We all know that therell be no leaf if there is no root. Even the world knows that and many people in medical science are beginning to realize that there is a root to sickness. In fact, a study by a well-known medical facility showed that about 70 per cent of all sicknesses are due to stress.

The Law Condemns

Why did Adam feel condemned? It was because he partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It was not even the tree of evil or the tree of sin. So what does the tree of the knowledge of good and evil speak of? How did it cause Adam to sin? My friend, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is a picture of the law because the law gives us the knowledge of good and evil. The Bible says, by the law is the knowledge of sin. (Romans 3:20) Contrary to popular opinion, God did not give the law for man to live by or to make man holy. God gave the law so that we know were sinners and we see our need for a Savior. Now, we know that the law brings about the knowledge of sin. But what happens when you have the knowledge of sin? You will feel condemned. So from now on, when you think of the law, think of condemnation. Dont think of the law as doing right or not doing wrong because God did not give us the law for that purpose. The law condemns. (2 Corinthians 3:79)

Condemnation The Deepest Root Of All

Now, the deeper root of stress is fear. All stress is caused by fear fear of failing, fear of not having enough, fear of death and so on. But thats as far as medical science can go. They cannot touch the deepest root because it is spiritual. And the deepest root of all is condemnation. When theres condemnation, therell be fear. When theres fear, theres going to be stress. And when theres stress, therell be manifestations of the curse. Now, if you disagree with me that the root cause is condemnation, let me refer you to Genesis, the book of beginnings. Do you know that Adam was planted in the midst of a finished work? Everything was prepared for him. But the devil told him that he needed to do something to qualify for all the things he had already qualified for. The devil gave him a mistaken identity. He said, You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. (Genesis 3:45) The truth is that Adam was already like God! But Adam believed the devil, ate the fruit and fell. And the curse came. Before there was poverty, sickness and death in Adams life, there was stress. How do we know that?

The Devils Tactics And Weaponry

You might ask, Pastor Prince, what has the law got to do with my problems? My friend, our enemy the devil is smarter than many psychiatrists, psychologists and even many believers. He does not deal with the peripherals and the superficial. Do you know what his first name is? It is not thief or murderer, even though he steals and murders. His first name is Satan, which is Hebrew for prosecutor at law or accuser. Do you know what the role of a prosecutor is in the court of law? He is there to prosecute you and condemn you. He never talks about your good points. He will bring up all the dirty laundry and relentlessly accuse you till you feel condemned.

The only place where you find no condemnation is in Christ Jesus.

So the devils name tells us that he goes straight to the root of your problems. He doesnt come to you and say, let your business slide or Neglect your children. On the contrary, he comes to say things like, How can you let the business slide? or Call yourself a Christian! Call yourself a good father. Youre a lousy father! He accuses you till you feel condemned. And he uses the law, which is holy, good and just, to condemn you. That is why condemnation the root cause of all your problems is so subtle. That is why condemnation usually goes undetected. I have realized that the devil hasnt changed his tactics even with a church like ours where I preach so strongly against condemnation. Do you know why? Because he has no other tactic! He has no other weapon! The devil cannot enforce the curse in your life apart from condemnation. The devil cannot make you sick apart from condemnation. You have to cooperate with him and receive the condemnation first. The good news is that God disarmed the devil at the cross. God took his only weapon the law and He nailed it to the cross! Yes, God has triumphed over the devil and all his demonic principalities and powers! Thats why I often tell the church that we are not fighting for victory. We are fighting from victory. The victory is already ours through the finished work of Christ at the cross.

The Key To No Condemnation

The fact that you can feel condemned is proof that you have a heart of flesh, not a heart of stone. (ezekiel 11:19, 36:26) It is proof that you are truly born again. What, then, is the key to getting out of your evil day? What is the key to no condemnation in your life? Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus The only place where you find no condemnation is in Christ Jesus. The word therefore connects Romans 8:1 to the previous verses in Romans 7, where Paul talked about how he was condemned by the law that he knew so well. The reason there is therefore now no condemnation, is that God loved us so much that He gave us His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Jesus came and He was condemned for our sins at the cross. When He hung on the cross, God took all our sins of our entire lives, and He heaped them on Jesus. Then He unleashed the vengeance of His fury against lawlessness and sin on the body of Jesus Christ until Jesus cried, It is finished! The reason that you and I experience no condemnation today is that all our sins have been punished and condemned, but in the

What It Means To Overcome The Devil By The Blood Of The Lamb

Revelation 12:1011 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Many Christians know that we overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb. We know that there is power in the blood of Christ. But what is it about Jesus blood that makes it so powerful? Now, what did Jesus say of the blood when He instituted the Lords Supper? He said, For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Matthew 26:28) The blood is for the forgiveness of sins! The blood is there to ensure that you live in no condemnation! That is what makes it so powerful! Notice also what is said in verse 10, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. The devil is called the accuser of the brethren. And he relentlessly accuses Gods people day and night. But the good news is that he has been cast down! He has been defeated! The moment he has no power to accuse, salvation, strength, the kingdom of God and the power of Christ will manifest in your life!

Do Not Respond To The Accuser

Some of you might say, Pastor Prince, I have no problem with this root. I dont feel condemned. My friend, you will be surprised. Condemnation is very subtle, especially if you are a person who believes in doing whats right. Continue to do whats right, but do not respond to the accuser. When you choose not to respond to him, he cannot condemn you. The root cause of all your problems is destroyed, and you will come to the place of no condemnation in your life.

Joseph Prince In Norway

From 28 January to 3 February 2008, Joseph Prince was at Oslo Christian Center in Oslo, Norway. Specially invited by Pastor ge leskjr, founder and pastor of Oslo Christian Center, Joseph was there to be the key speaker at the leaders Conference. Over four days, Joseph preached a total of six sermons. Around 800 to 1,000 leaders attended three morning sessions. The three evening services saw people coming in crowds of at least 1,500 each time, and these services were also broadcast live over the Internet.

Excited About The Gospel Of Grace I have never heard anyone preach the pure gospel as clearly as Pastor Prince. Hes a true man of God who teaches with a wholehearted focus on our lord Jesus Christ. How time ies! A year has come and gone, and were commemorating the rst anniversary of Joseph Princes international broadcast ministry. In this special feature, Joseph shares what the driving force behind his ministry is, as well as Gods divine ngerprints in the journey thus far.

n Sunday, 31 December 2006, Joseph Prince declared in his year-end/new year message at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, God has visited your future, and it is good. Prompted by the Spirit, he also proclaimed 2007 to be a year of new beginnings. Now, looking back from our vantage point in May 2008, its been an amazing ride! Though most of the events occurred in 2007, on hindsight, it becomes clear that God had set things in motion way before that.

Then the lord said to me, Its because people like you dont want to be on TV. That word from the lord began to break down Joseph Princes resistance to being on television. From this experience, he also began to see the power of the television broadcast as the most direct way to unveil Jesus to the greatest number of people. Then, in 2005, Joseph continued, there was a shaking. everything was going well, the church was growing, there was salvation of precious souls every Sunday, but there was a frustration on the inside of me a knowing that God wanted something more. The idea of more was far from the minds of many in New Creation Church (NCC) at that time. In 2005, NCCs congregation numbered around 12,000, a huge leap from the 150 members we had in 1990, and it was still growing rapidly. (The highest attendance that NCC has had so far in 2008 is over 18,000.) Joseph had always focused on building the local church and had, through the years, turned down many invitations to preach overseas. We were having revival after revival every single year, Joseph shared. I just kept on preaching the finished work of Jesus and the church just kept on exploding. He also explained that he does not particularly enjoy traveling to preach. He actually prefers preaching four services in NCC every Sunday, and spending quality time with his family Wendy and their daughter Jessica. Despite Josephs initial reluctance to begin an international ministry, the turning

Genesis Of An International Ministry

There can be no doubt that at least some of the exciting news of how people around the world have been impacted by Josephs broadcast ministry has gotten out. But how, and when, did it all begin? Reminiscing, Joseph related a particularly significant incident which happened during a vacation in Canada with his wife Wendy: One day while in a hotel room, I was watching a Christian channel when this very hard preacher came on, saying things like, Dont think for one moment that the grace of God will cover your sin! Your sin will find you out! I said to Wendy, How in the world can this guy preach on TV? There are a lot of people watching this who are feeling condemned or lonely, or are backslidden, or who dont even know Jesus and this guy is preaching condemnation! How can he?

Im always touched by these testimonies, and see them as a sign of Gods hand. It amazes me, the number of people who write in saying the same words, that they feel like they are born again, again when they hear the gospel of grace preached, and that they are falling in love with Jesus for the rst time.
point came when the lord started speaking to him specifically about the importance of preaching the gospel of grace beyond the four walls of NCC, to the four corners of the world. And since Destined To Reign began airing on Daystar, JPM has received praise reports from viewers around the globe, including the Philippines, the United Kingdom (UK) and different parts of Africa. The sheer number and quality of these testimonies are undeniable proof that Josephs ministry is unique in its scope and impact. These testimonies are a large part of what Joseph considers the highlights of this first year. Im always touched by these testimonies, and see them as a sign of Gods hand. It amazes me, the number of people who write in saying the same words, that they feel like they are born again, again when they hear the gospel of grace preached, and that they are falling in love with Jesus for the first time.

A Year Of New Beginnings

When asked to share his vision for his ministry, Joseph said, My vision is to remain faithful to the heavenly mission, the mandate that God gave me to preach the gospel. The gospel is not a teaching but a person Jesus Christ. I endeavor to see through the broadcast, my speaking engagements and materials, Jesus having central place again in the church and in peoples lives, and people falling in love with Jesus. To help him manage the details of running an international ministry and prepare for the expansion that God had promised, Joseph appointed Darren Sim as the director of business development of Joseph Prince Ministries, Inc. (JPM). In January 2007, JPM was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization in the United States (US). And right from the get-go, the lord underlined His urgent desire to get the gospel of grace out into the world with a series of miracles, opening huge doors that propelled JPM literally from total anonymity to phenomenal success! It was all effortless and supernatural, all divine appointments, Joseph said. They also came very quickly, and it was clear that God was doing it. And what took many established international ministries years even decades to develop, JPM effortlessly received through divine favor and acceleration in a single year. Between January and April 2007, JPM set up its US base in South Carolina, complete with a 24-hour tollfree call center and an order fulfillment system including warehousing facilities, to support the needs of the broadcast ministry. And just as quickly, viewers began utilizing these facilities. In April 2007, JPMs first broadcast of Destined To Reign (the title of Josephs television program) was aired on Daystar Television Network, the worlds second largest and fastest growing Christian channel. Daystar has a potential reach of over 60 million households across the US and can be seen in over 200 countries around the world via satellite.

When God Blesses, He Doesnt Stop At Enough

As NCC members are well aware, Pastor Princes sermons are long and full of rich truths. To fit general broadcast requirements in the US, each message is broken up into three to four parts which are aired separately. And as Destined To Reign had been launched as a weekly program, one snippet a week was definitely unsatisfying for the many hungry viewers. People were writing in and saying, It takes one month to finish listening to one sermon! We got a lot of friendly complaints via email, asking us to become a daily program, Darren laughingly commented. So JPM set about believing God for airtime availability. And like a stamp of approval from God, a window of opportunity opened in less than a month. The ministry was offered a daily time slot on Daystar, Mondays to Fridays, and Destined To Reign began screening daily from 15 May 2007 Joseph Princes birthday! It was as if this was the lords birthday gift to Joseph!

Beyond Human Imagination

In October 2007, the next breakthrough came: JPM broke out of just reaching a largely Christian demographic via Daystar, and received the opportunity to broadcast on a secular network ABC Family Channel. I couldnt sleep tonight. I was uneasy, so I turned the TV on to TBN and there you were preaching on grace and favor! 90 million households as part of a basic cable television package in the US. This means that almost every subscriber to cable television in the US gets ABC Family and that Josephs messages are potentially reaching nearly every American household with the precious gospel of grace! Then, in November 2007, Josephs personal friend, Samuel Smadja, the owner of Sar-el Tours, told him that Marcus lamb, the co-founder of Daystar, had commented to Samuel while on a trip in Israel that Destined To Reign had become one of his networks most-demanded programs! But Josephs ministry only truly spanned the globe when Destined To Reign began broadcasting on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), which can be accessed on every continent on the planet! According to the trailer on their website, TBN reaches billions around the world via more than 5,000 television stations, 33 satellites, the Internet and thousands of cable systems globally.

By Gods miraculous favor, Destined To Reign bypassed the usual two-year waiting list normally faced by programs looking to broadcast on TBN, and found itself airing on the network in early 2008.

So Much More Than Just TV

When one takes a step back from the flurry of activities and looks at things objectively, the only possible conclusion is, as Darren put it, that God has His hand on this ministry, and upon our senior pastor it is all by the grace and favor of our lord Jesus. Im really humbled that Ive been invited to the Hillsong Conference again in Sydney, Australia, for the second time. Its always a great privilege to be able to preach the gospel of grace and I know that these open doors are by His grace and His grace alone.
ordinarily be overlooked. But Gods divine favor upon Joseph Prince has made itself obvious in the events of the past year. The potential reach that Josephs messages have through the broadcast ministry is staggering. even a simple look at the numbers is enough to make one stand in awe of what God can do when a man of God is true to the call upon his life. Consider this: Singapore has a population of more than 4.4 million individuals (of which NCC is but a small, small fraction). Broadcasting on Daystar allows Joseph to reach a potential 60 million households (not individuals), or about 60 per cent of US viewers (the total population of the US is 304 million), while with ABC Family a secular network Joseph can reach up to 90 million households in the US. With TBNs worldwide network, and not forgetting broadcasts on the Australian Christian Channel (ACCTV), the gospel of grace as preached through Josephs program has truly gone global! Destined To Reign can now be watched by viewers across the world, from the UK, to Norway, Holland, Uganda, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia and even the Philippines. Plans are also in the pipeline to broadcast in Israel, Mondays to Fridays, on a Christian digital satellite channel known as Middle east Television. This channel is owned by the leSeA Broadcasting Network, which was founded by the late Dr lester Sumrall. looking at all these places that the Destined To Reign program has been to, and will be going to, thats a whole lot of people who now have easy access to the wonderful gospel of Christ!

Extraordinary Favor, Extraordinary Success

As a relative newcomer on the scene and a young punk, as he jokingly calls himself, Joseph is experiencing extraordinarily accelerated success. Just imagine: In under a year, Destined To Reign began as a weekly program on Daystar in April 2007, and covered the entire planet by

March 2008! No one can deny that all this is possible only by Gods amazing grace and favor! On behalf of Joseph, Darren emphasized, We are just taking it easy; it is truly effortless, and God just throws open the doors for JPM. I believe you will agree with me that God wants to get the gospel of grace that we are so blessed to hear every week in NCC out to the rest of the world more than any of us. Even before the television broadcasts began, invitations had already been flooding in for Joseph to speak at large international conferences. Through the broadcasts, he is able to reach out to large numbers of people at one go, but via the conferences, Joseph is able to minister to and impact many influential leaders and pastors with the gospel of grace. When asked to comment on his experiences as well as his long (and rapidly growing) list of invitations to preach overseas, Joseph shared, Ive experienced tremendous favor favor that God has given me. At the conferences that Ive spoken at, many senior leaders who are great men of God have said, and are saying, that what I shared was the highlight of the conference, and that it impacted people the most. Im given prime slots at these conferences in South Africa, Australia, Norway, Holland and placed as the keynote speaker. And in many of these places, Im there for the first time! In the midst of all the success and accolades, one thing is sure: Stepping into the international arena has never been one of Josephs personal desires. Those who have been in NCC for some years are aware that he did not travel often to preach until some time in 2005. Its also a well-known fact that every time he receives an invitation to preach overseas, his first two questions are, Will it clash with Jessicas school holidays? and How many Sundays will I miss? His family and the local church are Josephs priorities. He reiterated to the NCC congregation at the start of each service on Sunday, 16 March 2008, I dont travel well I miss my family, and I miss you. Id much rather be here, instead of traveling all the time. But the gospel must go out. And Joseph acknowledged that neither he nor JPM would be where they are today without the love and support of our church. I thank God for the Church Council and our people, that they see this as not just being my ministry, but as something that the Lord wants us to do. I wouldnt be able to go out and propagate the gospel if not for the support and prayers of the Council and our people. They have given me their full blessings, and they know that this vision that the Lord has placed in their hearts will never shortchange them. On behalf of the Church Council, Deacon Yong Chee Ram stated that our church supports the broadcasts of Destined To Reign through our missions giving. The Council sees JPM as an extension of the preaching of the gospel of grace that is carried out in NCC. We believe in it and we are committed to supporting this. We also recognize that broadcasting is the most effective way of getting the gospel around the world, he added. Yes, we can be sure that the television broadcast ministry and everything it entails is all about Jesus. It is all about the covenant of grace and how people who have received the new life of righteousness, are being set free from condemnation, and are reigning in life today because of the gospel of Christ.

y battle with thyroid problems has robbed me of my joy for many years. In the summer of 2006, my thyroid got so bad, I lost 40lbs in two weeks. I was so thin that I looked like a skeleton. On 10 May 2007, my friend introduced your online Daily Devotional* to me. learning about Gods grace blew me away! In September 2007, my friend began to lend me some of your sermon CDs. Well, all I can say is that my life is never the same again! Now, I read the Scriptures not because I have to, but because I want to know more about His love for me. I just enjoy being in Gods presence. During this time, I also stopped taking my thyroid medication. And just by cultivating His presence every day, I totally forgot about my thyroid. I feel more alive and energetic. In early March 2008, my mom called to inform me that my insurance provider has asked me to go for my routine medical check-up. So I went. And guess what? My 12-year thyroid condition is gone! Indeed, by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5) Truly, right believing produces right living. The more I believe that I am the righteousness of God in Christ, the more the fruit of the Spirit love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control springs from within.

Impacted By The Gift Of Tongues

watched an episode of your program on TBN recently. You were talking about speaking in tongues and using it to get rid of the negative emotions in our bodies.

The next day, I was having an argument with my husband in the car when your words came to mind. For the first time, I noticed that the anger was in my stomach. I began to move my lips and whisper in tongues. The feeling I experienced on my inside was like drinking a cold glass of water and feeling the cold water moving down to my belly. The Spirit was moving like ripples of water and taking away my anger. I was amazed! Not only did my anger dissolve but I also heard the lord tell me that His hand is on my husband and my children, and that He would make right what was wrong. And it was easy for me to say, I am sorry to my husband. Honestly, I dont remember what we were fighting about. Praise be to our loving Father He never gives us insignificant gifts! Receiving The Assurance Of Gods Grace

was raised in church and have called myself a Christian all my life.
