168,169,183 and 184 Real Wealth Has Nothing to Do With the "Quantity" of Material Things You must not think of your wealth in terms of the quantity of material things or amount of money in your possession. Real wealth is measured by the size of your love or how extensive it is and also by how extensively your love can be applie d in daily life. If you think of so-called "real wealth" as being the various forms of it found i n banks, safes, wallets, etc., your wealth would be a limited one. And it would be nothing but the kind of wealth that would one day rot, rust, weather, disinte grate and disappear. Love is forever indestructible. Why? Because it is something that has come from God. "Facilities of love," such as buildings, etc. will one day rot away and be otherwise destroyed; however, the love you have expressed will remain in the wor ld of eternity without being destroyed ever. So That You May Be Prosperous Not only your good health but your prosperity also comes from God. If you think that wealth is the product of man's knowledge and cleverness, you may win tempor ary prosperity, for example, by resorting to aggressive business practices and c unning. However, it would be difficult to acquire eternal prosperity by resortin g to such practices. God views man as a child of God and loves him as his own. Therefore, if you woul d arouse love for all mankind, find out what the vast majority of mankind is see king, and offer them what most of them are seeking, and arouse universal love th at wishes to bring happiness to all mankind, such a love becomes attuned to God' s love. Consequently, you will receive the vibration of God's wisdom and succeed in creating goods and services that will bring true happiness to all of mankind . Or you may become an intermediary or an agency for the development and promoti on of various businesses. In either case, you will receive God's blessings, and you will naturally be guided toward prosperity. Your Business Knows No Recession You should receive God's blessings, receive the guidance of God's wisdom with re gard to your prosperity, consider what you should do to bring happiness to manki nd, and consider ways and means of contributing the greatest happiness to the gr eatest number. When you begin to do these things, then your enterprise will begi n to move full speed ahead of its own accord on the highway to prosperity and ha ppiness. And, day in and day out, you will be able to greet prosperity in your w ork with a heart filled with joy. Though the whole world may suffer recession, your business will never fall into it. God's wisdom is aware of everything. Those who practice Shinsokan faithfully and are thereby constantly guided by God's wisdom, are extremely perceptive to the changes in consumer demands. Since such people quickly respond by manufactur ing and marketing what the public really wants in order to live happy, satisfyin g lives, they never experience recession.
