The Naval Academy will host its 53rd annual Foreign Affairs Conference Apr. 9-11 for faculty and students from around the nation. This years conference seeks to examine the near-term effects of current geopolitical trends and events. The theme is Time of Transition, and topics of discussion will focus on how to view the world in a security context with emphasis on the Middle East and the Pacific. Key speakers include Commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command Adm. William McRaven, former Deputy Secretary of Defense Richard Armitage, Ambassador Paula J. Dobriansky and Middle East expert Aaron David Miller.

The Naval Academy War of 1812 exhibit opens Apr. 1. Learn more about some of the artifacts and artwork that make up the exhibit from the owner of the collection, William I. Koch.

Dogs serve their human partners in many different ways. For Daniel Tucholski , the 23-year-old son of an active-duty naval officer stationed at the U.S. Naval Academy, a dog means independence.

MWRs automated car wash operates 24/7 and is located between the Navy Exchange Service Station and the Mini-Mart. Features include auto-wash bay for autos and a self-service bay for autos and one for RVs, vacuum, shampoo, air and a change machine. $1 and $5 bills or credit cards may be used.
