ASSIGNMENT TITLE

Business Strategy

The aims of this unit is to build on learners existing knowledge of the basic tools of business analysis such as PESTLE and draw it together so that the learners think strategically. The analysis tools needed for the process of strategic planning. Learners will learn how to apply strategic positioning techniques to the analysis of a given organization and prepare a strategic plan based on analysis. Finally, learners will compare the roles and responsibilities for strategy implementation and evaluate resource requirements for the implementation of a new strategy for a given organization. This is the final assignment for this unit. In this assessment you will have

opportunities to provide evidence against each criterion.

-You are required to produce an academic report of 4000 words (+/- 10%) covering all the questions given below. -You are required to follow the formal presentation format. -You are required to reference sources by using Harvard Referencing Style. -The colleges regulations concerning cheating, collusion and plagiarism apply to this assessment. - This assignment must be completed individually, in print, and must be bound with front and back covers.

Select an organization of your choice that consist of SBU (Strategic Business Units) department and outline a strategic plan, detailing the following strategic elements.
Task 1: 1.1 Explain Strategic Contexts and terminology and give examples of each terminology wrt your chosen organization 1.2 Explain the problems wrt to chosen organization, involved in strategic planning and how best problems be solved 1.3 Explain each of the strategic planning techniques as per the unit content.
