Title of Activity: Life Images

Number of Teams & Group Size: Minimum 3 people per group Maximum 8 people per group

Logistics Needed: A4 Paper Markers / Pens Masking Tape

Time Allocated: 15 - 30 minutes

Goal: Self-Introduction, Telling your life story

Preparation & Set-Up: Distribute the A4 Paper and Markers, ensuring that each participant has received 1 sheet of A4 paper, and 1 marker.

Directions for Conducting the Activity: 1. Inform participants that each of them is to draw 4 images on the paper provided. 2. The first image is when they were children, and represents their childhood. 3. The second image is when they were teenagers or in school / college. 4. The third image is themselves at this current moment in time, or their current situation in life now. 5. The fourth image is what they think theyll be like in 20 years time. 6. Participants can make the 4 images as detailed or as simple as they wish. They may include words if they want to.

7. Begin the activity. Once the majority of participants have completed their 4 images, invite them to write their name on the top of the paper, and use the masking tape to stick the images up. 8. Invite each participant to share their life images. Alternatively, break participants into several smaller groups, and invite them to share with their group about their life images.

Specific Rules: 1. Participants are to draw 4 images that represent their life. 2. The first image represents their childhood, the second image represents their teenage / college years, the third image represents their current situation in life, and the fourth image represents them in 20 years time.

Variations: 1. For participants of a younger age group, you may wish to ask them to draw only 3 images instead. 2. Ask participants to draw the 4 most memorable moments in their life.

Facilitator Notes: Once the activity has concluded, leave the life images up. Invite participants to browse the various images during the break.
