PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
FAMILY HEALTH INTERNATIONAL 360, RTP, NC Sr. Systems Architect (acting Head of Networking and Telecommunications) (2011 Current) Working as the Global Head of Networking and Telecomunications; I have a small team of professionals who report to me. I am also in charge of design/implementation/administration of all VMware, EMC SAN (mostly Clarion CX4s), Networking LAN/WLAN/WAN, Directory, DR, and various projects for FHI's IT infrastructure globally.
Decreased FHIs circuit costs and improved network performance, saving FHI 360 over $3 million. Redesigned FHIs routing and security in RTP, improving their SLA from 99.7% to 99.998% uptime. Architected new authentication and authorization solutions for network access, and device administration using Ciscos Secure ACS 5.2, which has improved Wireless security and reliability, and helped secure FHIs environment from attacks initiated from both outside and inside corporate resources. Led my team to implementing VoIP in over 44 offices domestically and internationally, which will save FHI 360 $2.9 million over a three year period on long distance and international dialing. (This project is ongoing for 33 more sites). CISCO SYSTEMS, RTP, NC Systems Administrator L.A.S.E.R. engineering group for Cisco Operations Development (2010-2011 <6 months>) Managed, maintained and developed VMware, Linux (CEL, RHEL, SuSE), Solaris, Storage (NetApp, EMC, Nexan), and provided documentation, training, and guidance to less experienced professionals on my team.
