The defendant, in violation of Section 569.020, RSMo, committed the class A felony of robbery in the first degree, punishable upon conviction under Section 558.011, RSMo, in that on or about April 2, 2013, in the City of St. Louis, State of Missouri, the defendant forcibly stole a cell phone in the possession of K.R., and in the course thereof the defendan displayed what appeared to be a deadly weapon.

The defendant, in violation of Section 571.015, RSMo, committed the felony of armed criminal action, punishable upon conviction under Section 571.015.1, RSMo, in that on or about April 2, 2013, in the City of St. Louis, State of Missouri, the defendant committed the felony of Robbery 1st Degree charged in Count 1, all allegations of which are incorporated herein by reference, and the defendant committed the foregoing felony of Robbery 1st Degree by, with and through, the knowing use, assistance and aid of a deadly weapon.

PROBABLE CAUSE STATEMENT DATE: April 4, 2013 I, Darren Hill, a law enforcement officer for the City of St. Louis, State of Missouri, knowing that false statements on this form are punishable by law, state that the facts contained herein are true. 1. I have probable cause to believe that Ronald Donnell Burns, a Black Male DOB: XX/XX/90 Age: 22, committed one or more criminal offense(s). Count 1: Robbery In The First Degree (Class A FELONY) RSMo 569.020 ON 4/2/2013 Time: Place: 50XX VIRGINIA AVE (SCC 12010) Count 2: Armed Criminal Action (FELONY) RSMo 571.015 ON 4/2/2013 Time: Place: 50XX VIRGINIA AVE 2. The facts supporting this belief are as follows: Defendant approached K.R. in a store and asked for her phone number. K.R. would not provide her number. Defendant left the store. As K.R. was walking from the store, Defendant drove up, pointed a gun at her and demanded her belongings. K.R. handed over her cell phone. Further investigation led to Defendant as a suspect.
