The Moonshot Council could also begin experimenting with the Government supplementing funding by drawing on a Crowdfunding model. Crowdfunding Government-supported projects like those created by the Moonshot Council could usher in an era of creative funding of public-private projects.

As a founder of the Startup Visa, this is an important area for me. I believe that the American Dream Award and the Chief Recruiting Officer and her mandate should lead to a new class of visas called the Founders Visa that allows an influx of new Americans who are granted visas to start up their own companies in America.

While I was Chief Application Officer for Mozilla I funded a design for a cheap tablet, connected for schools that could be funded for $99. More importantly, a tablet like this could provide all American children access to technology and a software platform that could connect teachers, parents, students and their communities. Imagine Khan Academy and other services and apps connected to such a platform.
