AIS FANS SHOW SCHOOL SPIRIT AT S.C.I.

S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 2013

Many people showed school spirit at AIS S.C.I.S. tournament 2013. The cheering could be heard all around the American international school Vienna, from the gym to the kindergarten, when the school held the 2013 SCIS MS basketball tournament. There were eight schools competing in the competition. The International School of Zug and Lucern placed first. Although AIS did not place first, they did show great school spirit. 1. Frankfurt International School 7. Vienna International School 8. Bavarian International School Here are ways that prove AIS teachers, parents, and students have school spirit. Many elementary students made posters, cheered, and wore A.I.S clothing. I think its great that students get to come and support their team with posters, school clothing, and especially cheering., said 8th grader Carmen. Others like Annie a kindergartener, wore all green, wore face paint, and brought posters saying Go nights. Her and many students cheered all game and had a good time.

Many parents came to support their kids or to just cheer on the team. Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Ladner came to rally the students and get them excited for the game, they said Its very important to cheer for your school team, not only for fun but to also show school spirit., this is a good example of school spirit. They danced, cheered, laughed, handed out pom-pons, made posters, and sang. Mr. Locke came to support his daughter Sam, although he wasnt dressed in green to represent A.I.S he cheered along with others. Having fun watching the team play and enjoying a little snack at boosters? Mrs. Cazarztan helped support the players by serving them food at boosters. Julian Bandera dressed up as the A.I.S school knight and played the trumpet to get the kids excited and laughing. The band played We Will Rock You while the players warmed up to get the crowd excited, get the players excited, and to tell ISB they mean business. Although International School of Zug and Lucern won first, A.I.S showed good spirit and tried their best, thats all that counts!
