English language is very important language that we should learn to improve ourselves. I started learning English when I was 5 years old . English is an enjoyable language because the language is very unique and make me feel excited when I heard the other person speaking in English. During my primary school , I always feel that English is so boring and hard to learn. My teachers advised me to keep strong during English classes because I always slept during that time. It continued until I entered secondary school. My weakest subject during my secondary school was english subject. Become passive student in the class always make my English teacher angry with me during English classes. I started want to improve my English language when I cant get an excellent result during my lower secondary assessment. I started to read many books in English during my upper secondary school and become an active person in the class. I always asked the question that I cant understand because I really know that I was very weak in English . The question really help me to improve my speaking and my improvement in English Language. During my free time , I watched English movie and analyze it subtitle and speaking. For the first time , I cant see the impact but I not give up and continued this way. After many movie I watched , I really excited because I can speak more fluently in English although it just a simple speaking. I also tried another way like discuss with other friends in English and also try to speaking with my parents. I can built a good sentences until now and I proud because I get a good achievement in educational certificate Malaysia for the English subject. When I entered IPG Kampus Pulau Pinang , I tried to maintain my English level but I think my level in English subject decreases when I entered IPG. The learning process is very different and I become passive student again. I tried to get a good relation with my new friend so I can have a good communication with them. Maybe first time I entered this institute as a second intake student make me not

familiar with my new friend .I cant see many change for my first semester in the institute. It is really hard to get spirit learning English in good condition.For the second semester I improve a little in English subject because the learning process is suitable for me to be acquainted with my friend .Group discussion is one of the learning process that help me to improve my communication with other friend. I also asked the problem of my English to my group members and they help me a lot . We are together learning English and help each other during English classes . We also do exercises together and exchanging opinions during english classes. It continued until now and I really enjoyed learning English with my classmates. I also enjoyed because our lecturer is very good in teaching. He always take care of his student. My friend and I enjoyed his classes because his explanation is very clear and I almost understand what he explained in the class.
