Wow and wonder My Favourite Part of this Unit My favourite part of this unit was learning about the Aztec, and how they had come to start. Building a city on a lake was truly //an impressive achievement. I liked doing the cartoon drawings of the legend at the beginning of the term, since it was quite fun. I also love myths and legends in general.

MYP Areas of Interaction focused on in this unit For this unit, we focused on the Community and Service AOI. I believe that we had this AOI since we were learning about various different communities, which had significantly different lives. We also learnt about the people within those communities, and their services for the community.

Learner Profile characteristics used to complete this unit 1. Knowledgeable: For this unit, we learnt an ample amount of information about each civilization. After this unit, I am much more knowledgeable about these topics. 2. Inquirer: We had to do a lot of independent work, and if I was unsure about something, I would always research it myself or ask the teacher sometimes. 3. Reflective: We had to evaluate our performances sometimes, and reflect on what we did well or bad. 4. Cooperation: Many times, I had to work in groups. I have learned how to work in groups well, assigning roles equally and doing my fair share of work. IT used in this unit

Individual Reflection. Response

In this unit I have learned about different, unique civilizations, and how people have lived in the past. From this, I have gained a lot of specific knowledge about these things. However, I have also been able to see the struggles and disadvantages that people have had to undergo in the past. This makes me appreciate my living conditions today, as with the developing technologies and new discoveries our surroundings are much more pleasant and enjoyable. We also know that sacrifices are not true, and now, fortunately nobody has to die unnecessarily. In addition, I have seen the change from then and now, and how much humans have developed intellectually and physically.

And next I could improve my work by adding pictures, as I dont have much visual representations of information in the majority of my writing works.
