My Calendar report.

Christians should use my Advent Calendar because: 1. The are many pictures on the calendar which are to do with the Christian idea of Christmas 2. It reminds Christians of the true meaning of Christmas 3. It helps them prepare for Christmas. The are many pictures on the calendar which are to do with the Christian idea of Christmas this is helpful because I think that being a Christian myself, I would like a Calendar that reminds me of the true values of Christmas, not a Peppa Pig calendar, although everything as created by God, my Calendar would be better because it gives us Christians a real sense of Christmas and what it is all about, then night when the savior of the world, Jesus Christ. It reminds Christians of the true meaning of Christmas the night when Jesus was born. The pictures help, a star. The three wise men were led to Jesus by a bright shining star. The bright light led them to Jesus to warn him about Herod, the night when Jesus was born, the true meaning of Christmas. It helps them prepare for Christmas The pictures and the little readings underneath the doors help them prepare, because this also helps them prepare for Christmas. This helps because every day, they find a new reading to do with advent, and then have a chocolate in the shape of something from the reading. Such as if the reading was when Jesus was born, Christmas day, you would have that reading from the Gospel and a chocolate in the shape of Jesus in his little cradle. This Calendar would be fantastic for Christians! I would like this Calendar I am a Christian because it helps me remember the true meaning of Christmas. I have decided to also include some festivals of light from other religions. I have decided to do this because as well as being festivals of light, we were told to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. I think this is also good because nearly almost of the pictures on the Calendar are festivals of light, not all of my own religion! Some of the pictures (such as the one of Santa Clause and his reindeers) are just what Christmas has evolved into at the hands of Society. I decided to include these because even though they are not the real meaning of Christmas, they are still what Christmas has evolved to be. Christmas puddings are a part of my calendar because they are set alight, a theme of light. Although this has no real religious purpose, it is still a theme of light, not a religious one though. Jesus is on the Crucifix also, this has no real relation with Christmas, but I decided to put this on because Jesus, who was born to save the world, also died to save the world. He

was crucified to forgive the sins of the world, he was born to save the world, to come and deliver the word of God. The Christmas tree has been included because it looks up to God, yet again, not really much religious aspect to it; however, it is what society has evolved into. I put a Christingle because it represents Jesus, the World and the 4 seasons. The Candle represents the light, so I personally think that can be classed as a theme of light. The Advent Wreath has been included because it has 5 candles: 3 purple 1 pink 1 white in the middle of the wreath

I decided to include this because candles are a form of light, also it helps us prepare in the lead up to Christmas. Every week one more candle is lit to represent the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas, I think that this would make the Christians want to buy this because this shows that it is the true meaning of Christmas, and that it reminds us of the true meaning.
