of 3pm) Obviously, it is open book, but it will go so much easier and quicker for you if you review in advance. It will be in posted in 2 parts: objective and essay. Each part will be available for one hour after you start it. So, you do not need to do both parts at once. Once you start part 1 or part 2, you must complete it in one sitting. As noted in the syllabus, there will be a one-point reduction in the score for each minute over the allotted time. Part 1 consists of 25 multiple choice questions (2 points each) and 20 matching questions (2 sets of 10, 1 point each) for a total of 70 points worth of objective questions. Part 2 consists of 3 essay questions, which you will see below, totaling 30 points. All of the questions will be shown at once so you can backtrack and change your answers if needed. The answers to the objective part will be available for you to see when you complete it. Essay questions are graded manually, so those results will not be immediate. The exam covers modules 1-14. It is worth 10% of the final grade (100 points). To Prepare: Review the past three quizzes (through My Grades, click on your score on both pages). Review the Glossaries Recognize the difference between vocal, meditative, and contemplative prayer. Know the four Senses of Scripture (module 9). Essay Questions: 1. You have mentioned to a friend that you have studied vocal prayer in your course and your friend would like to know more about it. In complete sentences, explain: a) what vocal prayer consists of, including b) its three main forms (as found in module 4). c) For each of the three main forms of vocal prayer, provide a one-sentence example of a possible prayer.
