• Systematic identification, analysis and assessment of
hazards (Preliminary Hazard Analysis)
• setting up and maintaining a Preliminary Hazard
Catalogue per Airport with SMS
• one the base lines for the steering of
– Safety Management Systems of Stakeholders
– active assets of FOCA (Regulation, Approval, Oversight)
• Airports with IFR OPS: Altenrhein, Bern, Les Eplatures,
Genève, Grenchen, Lugano, Sion, Zürich, Buochs
• other Aerodromes to be defined
• clear split of roles between Safety Responsibility
(Stakeholder) and Oversight (FOCA)
