How do we ride these courses? All courses and distances will be posted in advance; distances are at your discretion, to be decided by rider/coach. This is not a judged show therefore make the choices that suit your needs. Each hunter height division will have 3 course options A, B & C (2 hunter, 1 equitation style course). Each jumper height division will have 3 course options D, E & F. How many times can I ride the course, is there a schooling? The whole day isopen card schooling. A horse/rider combination may enter as many times as they wish as long as you purchase a ticket. 2 refusals and you must leave the ring; if you go off course you must leave the ring as well. The courses are ticketed; tickets are to be purchased from show office. How do the flat classes work without a judge? It is a chance to practice your walk, trot and canter in a new surrounding, with the company of other horses. We will invite the participating coaches for positive commentary on the participants at the end of each flat class. How does the warm up work? Warm up will allow coaches to enter ring and use 2 jumps for schooling their students. Courtesy and a pleasant attitude are requested during this time. Is there a jump off course in the jumper classes? No. Will all the classes on the tentative schedule be held? A minimum of 3 horses are needed to run a height division. All classes are subject to change. When can we arrive? Ship Ins may arrive Saturday, April 20 after 3 pm. Arena closes at 6:30, barn at 8pm. Indoors/Outdoors? Weather permitting all jump classes will be held outside. All dressage classes, flat classes, lead line, walk/trot, cross rail, 18 & 2ft classes will be held inside. Dressage & Prix Caprilli Tests All registered dressage riders will be given a start time, first come first serve. Times will be posted on Facebook and at the barn by Friday, April 19. All tests will be performed in a 20x40-meters arena. For Prix Caprilli, 2 jumps will be placed on each quarter line, one between E and X and the other between X and B.
