Students who have obtained a Bachelor (or Master) of Theology are required to fulfill at least 7 credits in the field of secular law during the first stage of the programme. Students may select course units either within the Faculty of Law at KU Leuven or at another university. Other students are required to fulfill at least 7 credits in the field of theology or religious studies during the first stage of the programme. Students may select course units either within the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies at KU Leuven or at another university. Students must contact their study advisor to arrange study at another university. All choices made within this group need the approval of the home Faculty.

5. Praxis
In every stage of the programme students must take one seminar course and one praxis course.
