Title of Activity: Frog Jumped Into The Pond

Goal: To correctly say each phrase

Preparation & Set-Up: None

Directions for Conducting the Activity: 1. Teach participants the phrase One frog, jumped into the pond, Poom! 2. Inform them that this phrase has 3 portions: One frog, Jumped into the pond, Poom! 3. They are to take turns to say each portion - ie: The first person says One frog, the second person says Jumped into the pond, the third person says Poom!. 4. Once the phrase is complete, the number of frogs increases by 1, and the number of times each portion is said also increases accordingly. Thus, following the above example, the fourth person says Two frogs, the fifth person says Two frogs, the sixth person says Jumped into the pond, the seventh person says Jumped into the pond, the eighth person says Poom!, and the ninth person says Poom!, etc. 5. When it reaches the final participants turn, simply carry on the activity from the first participant. 6. When anyone makes a mistake, ask them to start a new round, beginning with One frog.

Specific Rules: 1. Each person is to take a turn to say a portion of the phrase 2. The phrase has 3 portions: ___(Number of Frogs)___, Jumped into the pond, Poom! / Plop! 3. Each time the phrase is completed, the number of frogs increases by 1. 4. Each portion of the phrase has to be repeated exactly X number of times, where X is the number of frogs.
