Lesson is a learning event in which all the activities are arranged to serve one central pedagogic aim (Chitravelu, N., Sithamparam, S. & Teh S.C. (2005). ELT Methodolgy : Principles and Practice)
To decide the stage of a lesson, it involves how many activities that will be conducted in the lesson and role for each activity in achieving the main purpose of the lesson
Lesson Planning
Target group, integration of language skills and selection of language content are things that need to be considered in constructing a lesson plan.

Step 1: The teacher should make the students understand and clear about what they should do during the class activity.
Step 4: the teacher must choose a suitable place and period for listening lesson.

Step 2: the teacher must make sure that the students know and understand what they are listening for each time. In order to ensure their understanding, the teacher can ask several questions regarding the content of the topic of the listening input so that they can grasp the essence of the text

Step 3: the teacher also should help the students to gain confidence by encouraging them to ignore the bits they do not understand while listening and just focus to understand and complete the task given

Step 1: The teacher can make the condition of the class friendlier and less stressful.
According to Brown H.D (2001), there are three stages in oral lessons which are presentation, practice and production stage.

Step 2: The teacher has to develop the accuracy and fluency of the students by two aspects which are the correct and appropriate words and fluency.

Step 3: The teacher has to plan earlier before teaching session in terms of materials and lesson objectives.

Covert Teaching : the teacher draws the students attention to learn grammar by teaching grammar without giving attention to grammatical rules (Harmer, 1988)
Teaching grammar can be divided into three stages - Presentations, focused practice and communicative practice.

Overt Teaching : the teacher will explain the rules of the grammar explicitly when he presenting the new language (Harmer, 1988)

Four stages recognized in reading skills which are: reading readiness, early reading, developmental reading and mature reading Stages 1 : Pre-reading The teacher will stimulate interest in the topic chosen so that the students will not feel bored during the lesson. Teaching Reading
Teaching Reading Guidelines: - Find a suitable text - Study the text carefully - Think and plan the activity based on the text

Stages 2 : While Reading The students will read the text and answer the questions given.

Visual Techniques : Teacher draw a picture and ask the students "What is this?"
Teaching Vocabulary
Translation Techniques : Easy and save time. However, translation does not always convey the exact meaning of the words.
Verbal Techniques : using synonym and definition of the word (sadunhappy, etc)

Stage 1 : Writing Readiness the students will learn to write in English for the first time
Stage 4: Mature Writing The students are able to write correctly with minimum mistakes.

Stage 2: Early Writing the students knowledge in English language has increased such as knowledge in grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure

Stage 3: Developmental Writing the teacher should focus on the correctness of spelling in writing

Teacher can ask students to make a group and present the literary reading by performing play or poem.

In order to integrate the language skills, the teacher should learn more about the various ways to integrate language skills in the classroom
