A place to belong...
Frank Shirvinski, Ph.D. abd Senior Minister

Welcome! We are so glad you have joined us. If you are new to Chaparral, please stop by the Welcome Center and pick up information about our Church. Getting connected is one of the most important ways to grow your faith and get to know others in meaningful ways.

Our Coffee Time was a HUGE hit!

For the next few weeks we are having a chair testing area. Before we put money into permanent seating, we want to know more about how it might be used...and that is where you come in. Feel free to move things about, and see what feels right. Watch for some concept drawings of what our actual coffee house might look like and let us know what you think.
Dr. Larry Hostetler Founding Minister

We are also trying a Jamba Juice smoothie area. We are serving kid-sized smoothies (for kids of any age!) today for $2 and the 12-oz. size for $3. Please ll out our questionnaire to give us your thoughts! Help yourself to water, tea or coffee. So come on out, meet a new friend and enjoy some time with your friends here at Chaparral!

Chairmans Corner
Last Sunday was a remarkable day in the history of Chaparral. From the early morning breakfast to the adult classes, children classes, youth programs, Sanctuary and Watermark worship services, meet-and-greet coffee and smoothie time, oneyear Bible program, and the fabulous nale of the Stained Glass Teen Choir performance of Joseph April 7th was truly an extraordinary day. Each and every one of our ministers and staff members put in extra hours during the past several weeks to make our campus attractive and welcoming and the start of our new schedule successful. Countless volunteers are to be commended as well. Thank you all for your superb efforts. The presence of Christ was felt at Chaparral! " Larry Gettman

Interfaith Trip to Israel

On November 3rd, 2013, a group of Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Buddhist travelers will be participating in a trip to Israel. It may be one of the most important study programs and working tours we will experience as we bring together people of multiple religious backgrounds and traditions to share open dialogue about our faith.

Jackie Huber Ministry Director, Worship Arts

We would love for you to join us! Our deadline for adding additional travelers is May 6th. Dr. Frank Shirvinski and Rabbi Jessica Zimmerman-Graf have agreed to join Danny Ehrlich as our leaders. Our time will include hands on experience with a working kibbutz. We have also been granted special permission for an excavation process near Jerusalem. Contact Steven Dietz or Frank Shirvinski for additional information. Jenny Statler Ministry Asst.

If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to his table.
