DREAMer Advisory Committee Member- Independent Contractor Bay Area DACA Collaborative

Overview: On June 15, 2012 the Department of Homeland Security announced a new federal policy that grants temporary resident status and employment authorization to certain undocumented youth who were brought to the United States as children. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), which took effect on August 15, 2012, promises to expand opportunities for undocumented immigrant youth throughout the country. The International Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1918 committed to providing high quality low cost immigration legal services to those in our community.
